What a wonderful place to get away from the "real world". Glen Ella Springs is the perfect place to decompress or celebrate a special occasion. My husband and I spent one night there for our 25th anniversary and could not have been more pleased. Upon arrival, Mariah made us feel at home. We were escorted to our room that was sweetly decorated. The mid week special included a fruit and cheese tray that was very tasty. We were encouraged to "explore" the property that included flower gardens, common area with snacks for guests, the meadow, pool, and stream. Dinner was a treat for us both. The duck was good (a little overcooked) and the seafood pasta was perfect. The atmosphere is the best. I recommend sitting outside on the patio for meals. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast buffet included blueberry pancakes, bacon, mini-omelets, fresh fruit, etc. Again, the food was very good. The best part was the fire pit that guests are able to use. It was the perfect way to end the day. I highly recommend a stay at Glen Ella! Take a book and relax! Make sure you spend your time there with someone you love (no television in the rooms:)

Room Tip: Make reservations for an end room. We were in #13 and no one walks in front of the open window.

My husband and I needed a peaceful, relaxing getaway and we found it here at Glen Ella Springs. It is absolutely gorgeous and exactly as the website describes. I was worried that we'd miss having a tv in the room but we didn't miss it at all. We walked over to the garden house and watched a little tv, played games and just hung out. Relaxed by the pool, which is saline treated so there's no heavy chlorine smell. Our room overlooked the pool with the mountains in the distance. It was so perfect! Although, we didn't eat at the restaurant, the breakfast was delicious! The owners were very hands on and you can tell they love their retreat so much in the way they take care of the gardens, etc. We will most definitely return to this lovely retreat.

Room Tip: The queen rooms overlook the pool and meadow. Gorgeous!! If it's your first time, I recommend...

We only had one night at Glen-Ella Springs but would have liked to stay longer. Really enjoyed the food, we arrived drenched from the storm raging outside and loved the fact that we didn't have to go out again to eat. Reputed to be one of the best restaurants in Georgia and we could see why. the The grounds are beautiful, I imagine it must be a great wedding venue.

Room Tip: We had a room facing the meadow which was really pleasant.

I got married at Glen Ella, and it was everything I dreamed of and more! From the first time I met with Luci I knew I was in good hands. The months planning were a breeze, she understood my vision and was willing to do just about anything I asked for. We had both the Rehearsal dinner and ceremony/reception on the grounds and they were both absolutely beautiful and the food was amazing. All of our family and friends were able to stay at the inn so from the moment they got there they did not have to get back in their cars! Anything you asked Luci, Ed or their staff for was done right away, first class service. If you are looking for a weekend getaway or a place to hold an event or wedding that is not your typical ”factory wedding” this place is for you!

Very well run country inn with delicious food and warm hospitality. Older property with a few expected inconveniences of a lodge built in the 1800's, but you cant run it much better than these people do. Highly recommended.

My husband and I stole away for one night at the Glenn-Ella Spring Inn, and it was just what we both were hoping for. Our room was lovely and the grounds were gorgeous. After walking around a bit, playing some horseshoes, and grabbing a complementary snack and drink at the garden house, we sat in the rockers on the porch and stared off across the meadow for hours. It was warm enough for a late afternoon swim in the pool and more lounging before our 8pm dinner reservation.

The food at the restaurant was beautifully cooked and service was excellent. My only tiny gripe: someone really needs to update that menu.

The buildings of the inn are old (late 19th/early 20th century). That's a part of their charm. It also means that noise proofing is an issue. It didn't bother us a bit, and we'd go back in a minute; but it is worth noting.

Room Tip: Ask for a room that faces the meadow/pool, rather than the road.
