“No instruction”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 July 2014

The young lady was absolutely no help, we ask her several time on instruction on how to pan and she was not willing to give out any info. It was like top secerect info. After returning to base we were stop by another couple leaving for the creek and they were also just as confused as we were.

“Family Fun”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 July 2014 via mobile

Children and adults alike had fun sifting through rocks and searching for gems. We invested in a $20 bucket and found quite a few gems. I regret not having the full mining experience of going down to the creek with our buckets and shovels which in addition is cheaper. Overall it was a good experience with friendly staff in a scenic area. Two thumbs up!

“Lots of fun”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 July 2014

It was a lot of fun having a day there. Mining in the river is much less expensive, than just take a bucket at the shop. A half day of mining is just 15$ and you can find a lot of gems there. It is a 70 minute drive from Atlanta and a trip worth.

“Fun time”

Kids had fun. We bought the 60.00 bucket. As the kids found their gems I just kept checking in the dirt where they were sifting and found gold. See attached photo.

“Gems a-plenty!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 July 2014 credit card Amex Cardmember Review

I have visited this site many times in the past and will definitely go again. Spending time with family and friends can't be beat when you're sorting rocks from gems from a bucket. I've found rubies, sapphires, emeralds, garnets, etc in just one trip! If you like, the shop can even turn your treasures into jewelry as a reminder of your visit. My gifts of this jewelry are always treasured. This is a lot of fun!!!
