“Honestly...”
Reviewed 21 August 2013 via mobile

I have lived here for nine years only ate here once and won't return. There restaurant is kinda gross.. you may call it antique or classic or whatever but mold on you mirrors and others places don't fly with me. Now on the the food... reminded me of a McDonalds burger(not insulting) I found a piece of plastic in my shake. Now given the date on this review is not right since I ate there longer ago. They were nice people in though. I honestly don't understand how people in this town think solo highly of this place. Bottom line- I wouldn't recommend.

“Will Definitely Return”
Reviewed 2 July 2013

This old-fashioned soda shop has a great atmosphere, and it hasn't changed since it first opened in this location. It displays a lot of culture from the past, as it has old-fashioned décor and equipment. It is family owned, and the people here are so friendly and have a great Southern hospitality. The food here is fresh and delicious, and you get to see it being prepared. A variety of comfort food is served here, such as burgers, fries, hot dogs, grilled cheese, ham and cheese, milkshakes, old-fashioned soda floats, and so much more. The prices are very reasonable, and the service is outstanding.

“Been around for decades...and great as ever!”
Reviewed 14 March 2013

Stop by to see Ron, he took over the business from his folks maybe nearly 50 years ago. Just East of Cleveland on US129.

Homemade slaw in small batches, awesome grilled cheese, dogs, burgers, and everything else, too.

Old time soda shop environment, and REAL milkshakes! Not the kind you get at a drive thru.

Try to catch this place when it is open. Good food. Even has an old wood burning stove for winter heat.
