“Simon's is Awesome!”
Reviewed 17 July 2014

We decided to eat here since we were working in the area. It was our first time dining here and it definitely won't be our last. I had a wonderful high quality big and flavorful bone-in strip steak with brussel sprouts and a salad for less than $40 and one my colleagues had a seafood dish with fish and shrimp baked in parchment paper served with green beans and we both couldn't believe how delicious the seafood and green beans were! Not to mention, everyone working in the restaurant spoke to us and seemed like they really enjoyed their job! Simon's is a great value and the food and service is amazing! Keep doing what you are doing!

“Simon's”
Reviewed 13 July 2014

I went with a group for a conference and was pleasantly surprised. The menu was very diverse and the wait staff was very attentive and knowledgeable about each of the items, which many asked for suggestions. They weren't as good with the drinks and messed up a few, but were very quick to fix the mistakes. We had 35+ people so that's understandable. The food was delicious. I had the twin filets and when perfectly cooked at the medium rare that I like, it was even better. The prices were a bit high, but considering the quality of the food, I would pay that every time. The appetizer platters were great for our group. It isn't quite a place for small children as they tend to be pickier eaters, but for couples, families, and business groups like ours, it was perfect. They had outdoor seating that we took advantage of while waiting for the hotel shuttle to come back (we stayed at the Hilton and they strongly suggested Simon's).

“Steak and Seafood that needs some upgrading”
Reviewed 28 June 2014

Simons is part of the Giovanni Group It bills itself as a steak and seafood house Location is minutes from ATL in College Park GA
There were of us from a buisness meeting that day. The host tried to squeeze us into a booth A little too cozy for 4 business friends
Once we got to a table our server came by and gave us the specials and took drink orders. Two of the vodka martinis which were citron with a twist came dirty with olives They were sent back and the correct drink replaced Our meals were fair at best. The salmon was definitely a frozen piece thrown on the grill The side of spinach never appeared after it was ordered instead sweet potatoes came on the plate.
On thepositive we did have fired green tomatoes which were very good
Over all just a fiar dinner However with that said near the ATL not too many options. Next time get a cab and go to Buckhead area

“Pleasantly surprised”
Reviewed 24 June 2014

We were staying at one of the Atlanta airport hotels and asked about a steak place within a couple of miles. They pointed in the direction of Simon's. We were looking for an Outback or similar because we weren't dressed for anything fancy (and didn't want to spend big bucks). We looked at the menu online and decided to take a stab. The food was good and the service was ok. It wasn't busy and we didn't see our server very often, but that was ok as we were busy talking and having fun. Two of us had ribs, which were very tender and flavorful. I enjoyed the pot roast. The price of the meals was reasonable considering the quality and quantity of good provided. I would recommend.

“A must-visit southside gem”
Reviewed 14 June 2014

The good: EXCELLENT attentive service and very good steaks and seafoods (and some pretty good desserts. (And large portions). Suprisingly when I went they weren't very busy (and they deserve to be). If you're looking for good steaks and decent seafood and a fairly upscale atmosphere this place is worth a visit. The main downside - the decor is a bit dark, drab and dated - they really need a redesign.
