“Best biscuits”
Reviewed 2 May 2014 via mobile

A very unassuming place. It is easy to drive by. If you do, it's your loss! It's breakfast, the way its supposed to be! The biscuits are king here, but don't sleep on the breakfast platters and bowls. It just tastes right! I opt for the tenderloin biscuit with egg and cheese most days, but the grits and gravy ain't bad!! Pleasant, mannerly, get down to business staff.

“Biscuits, Biscuits, Biscuits”
Reviewed 4 March 2014

This is one of the few non-corporate franchise restaurants in Dacula. Their biscuits are always good and their prices are very reasonable. Sometimes I have to wait for the biscuits to come out of the oven, but it's worth the wait and it sure beats the local MacDonald's drive-thru.

My biggest complaint is the lack of parking. There have been times when I've wanted to stop and get breakfast but there are no parking spaces available and there is no overflow parking, so I leave without breakfast.

“Good Southern Breakfast”
Reviewed 9 February 2014 via mobile

The food is simple, homestyle fare such as grits, bacon, eggs and many kinds of breakfast biscuits, and all of it is very good. The atmosphere is homey and pleasant, as though someone had just opened up their home's kitchen and dining room for guests to come and go and enjoy breakfast. The staff is very welcoming and treats their customers like family, and this seems to have created a sizable group of regulars - on the day we went, there was a constant flow of people coming through and the conversations between staff and customers were very familiar, as though they were catching up with friends. It felt very comfortable.

One thing to be aware of: seating and parking are a bit limited because of the building's small size, and as this is clearly a local favorite, it can become a bit crowded. We saw many people take their food to go, and though the seating area felt occasionally crowded, it was never uncomfortably so. We will definitely go back again.

“Excellent breakfast”
Reviewed 23 April 2013

They have really good biscuits. Food is always hot and fresh. Servings are plentiful. There isn't much seating and parking can be a bit difficult due to the small parking lot. its more of a carry out place, anyway. I knew it was going to be good because there is always construction trucks in the parking lot. That is usually a good indicator to me that the place has good food. I've eaten there quite a few times and it always consistently good and hot. I'm sure i'll go back again.

“Homemade breakfast away from home”
Reviewed 10 February 2013

I enjoy going to Amy La Faye's when I want a home cooked breakfast. Everything on their menu is good for breakfast and not expensive at all. This isn't cooked to order, more like a buffet style but the staff makes your plates. Food is hot and if there is a line it's usually because they are waiting for more chicken to finish cooking.

They serve dinner on Friday nights. I've only eaten there once for dinner and it was not very good.
