We had the great fortune to stay at Mountain Laurel Creek Inn & Spa for a weekend recently. We attended a wedding in the area, and found this Inn to offer a nice retreat in a beautiful area. The owners are experienced and hospitable and seem to want to go the extra mile to make you comfortable. With gourmet breakfast and homemade cookies left out for a midnight snack, plus a relazing facial at the spa, my only complaint would be not having enough time there. My partner and I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice, relaxing escape!

Mountain Laurel Creek Inn is the perfect romantic getaway, nestled in the beautiful country backroads of Dahlonega, GA, conveniently located near wine country. A wonderful place to enjoy as part of the wine tour experience, or just to get away for a couple days. The breakfast is quite a treat, the views are breathtaking, the gardens are beautiful, and the decor is warm and welcoming. We will be back!

David and Dennis have created a wonderful B&B located in the foothills of the mountains. Surrounded by colorful trees and quietness, there were many tranquil areas on the grounds of the B&B where you can just sit and take in the nature. The rooms offered everything a person could need. We stayed in the Laurel Suite which was huge with a very large bathroom, a jacuzzi as the tub (separate shower), and a beautiful view of the woods. The bed was so comfy, my husband and I are looking into purchasing the same king mattress for our bed at home. The gourmet breakfasts every morning were so delicious! No children allowed - a plus for us!! We will certainly stay here again the next time we visit Dahlonega. Thank you David and Dennis for a memorable visit!

Plans fell through for my 40th birthday so my husband scrambled to find an alternate destination. He searched tripadvisor.com and found Mountain Laurel Creek Inn and Spa. The location is private, the Inn is inviting and comfortable. You can tell that a lot of thought and care was put into this establishment. David and Dennis are wonderful hosts. I was lucky enough to have an hour massage with Barbara. The massage table is heated!!! The best part was I walked down the hall in my robe and after the massage walked right back to my room to further unwind! No driving necessary :)
I am looking forward to my next visit. (The Garden Room was quaint and comfortable....and the sheets were amazing!!!)

We spent this weekend at Mountain Laurel Creek Inn & Spa. This was my first time and my wife has been there several times before. We enjoyed the food and conversations with Dennis and David. The Garden Room was very nicely decorated, as was the entire house. It was a great escape from Atlanta and we highly recommend to stay there. Both of us took advantage of the messages offered. Just a few minutes away from Dahlonega the location offers a quick and easy drive to Dahlonega, where you will find plenty of restaurants and shopping opportunities. We will for sure return and HIGHLY recommend that you go there for a weekend!!

This was our sixth or seventh trip coming here to MLC since 2002. We've watched it grow and become more beautiful over the years. We always love visiting here. We've brought our friends & come to celebrate special occasions.
Lots of things here to like:
1. The rooms: We've stayed in the Garden Room & the Vineyard Room and we've loved them both. Every detail thought of and the 400 thread count sheets just add to the comfort of it all. You actually snuggle into the beds.
2. The Innkeepers: We think of Dennis & David as friends from getting to know them over the years. They are great people.
3. The Breakfast: They are all amazing. I can't pick a favorite.
4. The grounds: nestled just far enough away from Dahlonega to feel like you are secluded but close enough to go out for dinner. They have done an amazing job with the grounds. From the landscaping to the fire pit... lots of places to lounge, watch the birds, relax... have a glass or two of wine.
5. The pub: they recently added the Copper Penny Pub and we've truly enjoyed that this time. Offering wines from local wineries as well as their own private label wine. They have a nice selection of beer & champagne. We hung out, had a bottle (or two) of wine.

Lots of other things that make you think that they thought of everything like a huge selection of CD's with nice players in each room, large selection of DVD movies that can be viewed in the common area or they have a little DVD player you could take to your room to watch, nice book selection, big rockers on the front porch...popcorn near the microwave... all kinds of little extras like that.

The spa is great. My husband got a massage last time and this time too. We were here for the Six Gap Century (100 mile bike ride) in the mountains, so it was a nice treat and again, all here at the B+B. We will always count MLC as a place of comfort where we'll visit again and again.
