One night is not enough to truly enjoy this "on the square" hotel in Dahlonega, GA. We slept in the "Trumpet Monkey" room with a King size bed, Jacuzzi tub for two and a huge beautifully tiled shower room. The location could not be better and the parking lot behind the hotel is a stone's throw away. This room was filled with beautiful paintings, unique antique furniture and darling nick knacks that made you feel like you were staying at a friend's house and not a hotel. Quiet and peaceful in spite of being right in the middle of town. Walking distance to great restaurants and shopping. This would be my choice of hotels in Dahlonega, GA. I know you'll love it, we certainly did.

What a beautiful hotel - with a charming owner to match! Our room was amazing - Trumpet Monkey - cosy, big tub, huge shower. Perfect!

It's right next to a great restaurant, too.

Highly recommended to enjoy the sweet town of Dahlonega...

My husband and I stayed 1 night at The Hall House Hotel for my 40th birthday. We stayed in the Trumpet Monkey Room. Mike met us at the door to show us around our room. He was such a great host and made us feel very comfortable about our stay. The room was great-king bed with quilts, seating area, fridge filled with bottles of water, coffee maker and tv. The bathroom was huge with a jetted whirlpool tub, huge walk in tiled shower and water closet. Everything was spotless clean and well appointed with toiletries. Old wood floors creak a little when you walk but add to the historic charm. Directly across the hall is the Bourbon Street Grill. I would give the Grill 5 stars also. Their food is amazing! We are Sunday brunch on the balcony overlooking the square. Mike gave me his cell number and told us to just hang the "please tidy up" sign on the doorknob when we left. I will definitely return to the Hall House.

Privacy, charm, history. What a wonderful treasure in the heart of downtown Dahlonega. A short drive from the suberbs of Atlanta is this charming, eclectic, wine-town. The Hall House Hotel is the perfect place to stay to have spacious living quarters, a spectacular view of the square, historic charm, fantastic service (Mike is attentive yet gives you total privacy). I have had the pleasure of staying in both the Captain's Quarter room and Sara's room. Both had windows overlooking the square. It was awesome to be able to sit in the privacy and comfort of our room, drink some wine, and people watch with the Georgia breeze blowing through our room. The hotel is located right above a wine tasting room, art gallery, and an incredible Louisiana style restaurant-Bourbon Street Grille- (the crawfish dip is a MUST). Who wouldn't want to enjoy great food, live bluegrass music playing on the square, wine tastings, then conveniently walk back to your private room? With such excellent service (anything we needed, Mike took care of it immediately), spectacular location, and unique accommodations, we will be back again and again. We definitely won't stay anywhere else in Dahlonega.

The upstairs room in the Hall House was lovely. Wow, a jacuzzi tub too! The town square in Dahlonega is so quaint and provided me a beautiful place to walk each night. Hall House is right above the Bourbon Street restaurant, which makes it really convenient for food and late night drinks.
