The food was very tasty (we had the chicken) and the servers awesome - very friendly and accommodating. The sauce was mediocre at best, though. Very disappointing. It was far too citrusy. The portions were large, though, and we had plenty to eat. The sides were very appetizing. There are other BBQ places that are better.

The owner/chef is in the kitchen. He cooks like his momma! The food is always very good and the staff very friendly and prompt. Excellent Brunswick stew!

Scooter's has an ordinary store front but Extraordinary food. We stopped in for lunch and had to return the next night for dinner with the entire family because it was so delicious.
The Ribs, brisket, wings and pulled pork were all smoked to perfection and high quality meats. The St.Louis style ribs were beautiful and melted in your mouth. They had such an excellent flavor I ignored the sauce that was offered with them.
We sampled all the HOME MADE sides: fried green tomatoes, corn fritters, greens, Mac and cheese, fried sweet potatoe sticks and strawberry shortcake. The greens were fresh perfect. The "real" Mac and cheese was amazing. I honestly thought the quality and selection of food at Scooter's was much better than Dillard House (which was good too). If you appreciate good food where the chef stays true to traditional dishes-yet changes up some details that make them wonderfully unique- then don't miss Scooters. The prices are great! I had ribs, side and drink for under $13.00

They have the best brisket in town! Skip the sandwich and go with the platter. You get a heaping mound of shaved brisket with Texas toast and two sides. I recommend the sweet potato fries. Also their sauce is sweet by itself but great on meat.

Scooters is a quaint little BBQ restaurant along Hwy 441 in Dillard, GA. I had a pork BBQ sandwich with sweet potato fries. The BBQ was chopped and smoked... the way it ought to be. The sweet sauce was good and enhanced the meat's flavor without overpowering it. The price was reasonable and service was great. I will be back!
