“Great hotel”
Reviewed 22 March 2010

We were extremely happy with the 2 bedroom suite for not much more money than a standard hotel room. Staff was extremely friendly, great breakfast, decent fitness center, free passes to LA Fitness, free laundry, and great location. You could easily walk to several shops and restaurants. We drove all over the Atlanta area and the location was central to everything we wanted to see.

Our Family was in town for a wedding. It was so nice that when it came to our accommodations everything was perfect. The rooms were spotless. The staff was wonderful. They helped us with maps and locations we were traveling to. They knew about the shops and restaurants nearby. The mattress was smooth and pillows plump. We had the shuttle to the Marta. Nice layout for breakfast. Free laundry. But most of all quiet.

From the moment we checked in, it was a great stay. Front staff was friendly and courteous, and check-in was simple and quick. We even we given a free small bottle of water.

The room itself was a 2 bedroom (king and queen) suite with a full kitchen, 2 bathrooms and a large living area. Each bedroom had a TV, seperate bathroom, closet space (with shelves and a laundry basket), and a very comfortable bed. Our only gripes of the entire stay were the too overstuffed pillows and the lack of multiple thermostats. While the living area was perfectly warm, the bedroom was freezing! The kitchen had a full fridge, dishwasher, microwave and mini-stove. All dishware, pots, flatware and dishtowels/soap was supplied. The living area included a large dining table/desk space with free wi-fi, a large couch, chairs, a TV and enough room for our 2 young kids to run around.

Continental breakfast was included, with the usual dry foods, plus scrambled eggs, sausage and great coffee. We noticed a lot of families here as well.

Unfortunately, with the "great snow blizzard" of '10, the outdoor pool wa closed, but there is a very clean fitness room.

The location was excellent. It is about 20 minutes from downtown Atlanta, but a large shopping center is right across the street. There is quite a variety of restaurants and stores for everyone.

Overall, the hotel was excellent, and we will definately stay here again.

My partner and I were adopting a baby girl, and needed a clean, quiet and comfortable hotel with a kitchen for our stay in Atlanta. We chose Staybridge Perimeter East because it's close to Northside Hospital, where we spent much of our time, and because of the positive Tripadvisor reviews. We were extremely happy with our choice. We had a one-bedroom queen suite for 12 nights. The room was large, spotless and extremely quiet. The kitchen was great, and was equipped with pots, pans, glasses and utensils that allowed us to easily prepare our own meals, as well as provided enough counter space for all of our baby bottles. A large door clearly separated the bedroom and the living room, and allowed one us to quietly conduct 3am feedings while the other slept. We looked forward to the hot breakfast every day -- they never ran out of any of the items and constantly replenished anything that was running low.

WiFi internet access was fast and consistent. There was a small fitness center, which we used daily, as well as free laundry facilities. Coffee was available in the lobby throughout the day, and the hotel has happy hours with free snacks on Tue, Wed and Thu evenings.

Most importantly, the staff was extremely professional and accommodating. Our original room was wheelchair accessible, which meant it had less kitchen counter space (which we desperately needed), and they managed to find us another room within two days even though the hotel was fully booked. They never hesitated to address our needs, and always did it with a smile.

Another plus is the hotel's location. Everything you could possibly need was literally within a 5-minute drive. The hotel sits in the middle of a neighborhood with tons or restaurants and shopping options.

This is a great hotel for singles, couples or families, and we will definitely stay here again when we visit Atlanta.

Very spacious rooms with full kitchens! Bedroom was separated (with door that closed) from living area with sleeper sofa so there was privacy. Bathroom and closet were spacious. The complimentary breakfast was great! The lounge area in the lobby was very comfortable - we were in town with a large group for a wedding and the entire group was able to relax and socialize in the lounge area each evening. Our family was so happy with this hotel that we are now looking for Staybridge Suites everywhere we travel. We would definitely come back to this hotel and recommend to others!

We stayed here for the first time on a trip to see some fall leaves and play tourist around Atlanta. We've never stayed at a Staybridge Suites before and decided to give it a try based on reviews and price. We were not dissapointed. It was great for traveling with school age kids.
The check in and check out was efficient. No problems, they even held a fax of my sons forgotten homework at the front desk for us when we arrived. The rooms were nice, the kids had their own bedroom and bath, as we got a 2 bedroom suite. We had a full kitchen, small but workable for our needs, a living room with a couch and chair and dining table. The beds were comfortable and the bedding was nice. Nice towels and soaps too. The grounds and the lobby were very pretty and well kept. The breakfast was nice, eggs, susage, cereal, fruit, bagels, etc...but crowded at times. Stone fireplace in the lobby was beautiful.
My only complaint was that the room could have used a new coat of paint. Lots of scrapes and marks on the walls. Furniture was a bit beat up in places, however the couch and chair seemed newly replaced. The closet door was broken and the bathtub was a bit dingy, but nothing major. We were fortunate to have a quiet section of the hotel. If you are unlucky to have noisy neighbors the rooms were certainly not sound proof. We could hear every word of our neighbors morning shower singing. LOL. The other thing we noticed was that the internet service was painfully slow, which might be a problem for those trying to complete business.
This hotel is not the Ritz, but it was very comfortable, a good price and we would stay here again. Very nice part of Atlanta with lots of convient shopping and dining close by.

I have been to the atlanta area lots of times, family and I were going to the aquarium, zoo atlanta, and six flags. I wanted to stay right in town since we had a infant, but found this awesome hotel, and for the value it was my decision to stay here. took the mother in law and got a nice 2 bedroom, 2 bath, king/queen suite for right at $100/night (mother in law had her own bed, bath, and tv all part of the suite. Room was clean and very nice, no issues. I felt very safe at night. This hotel sits quietly around very nice condos/residential section. There is a super target very close along with lots of nice shops and restaurants. I was hesistant about the drive to the aquarium and other major attractions each day, but they were only 15-20 min drive. The breakfast had everything you needed (hot meats, cheeses, eggs and waffles) and was included. They even had fountain coca cola! I will be back to this hotel and the perimeter area again.
