We stayed here while enroute to the Ocoee for rafting. The rooms are very clean and the building is well kept.they have the bonus of an indoor pool and jacuzzi. The room we stayed in had a jacuzzi tub in the bedroom area. Be very careful, the hot water is very HOT! Breakfast featured a machine that made your own pancakes, rather than one of those sloppy waffle irons, and also had hard boiled eggs and yogurt. Do watch the steep driveway in front! We would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing the back. I stared at a Ford truck glaring into the window right outside our r...

We looked everywhere in the Elijay/Blue Ridge Ga area for a motel that did not have horrible reviews. Chose the Best Western Mountain View Inn and we were so surprised at how clean and comfortable the place was. Great Beds, new carpet etc. We will definitely stay when we are there again. A+

We were on a trip looking to buy property in Ellijay. This hotel was recommended by the realtor we were meeting. An older motel but very clean and quite comfortable. Very helpful staff and pretty quiet even though there was some sort of big week-end little league event. Beautiful view. We have to go back up to finalize our deal and will stay here again. Can't speak for the breakfast but it sounded like the average free motel fare. The coffee was good and they had plenty of it which thrills me.

Easy to find off Rt 5, but watch for the turn in the the BW, almost a switchback, if you go past and take the gravel road on your right it takes to in the back way and it is not as steep. Our room was clean and quiet, just an average room, but the bed was kind of hard (for me). Overall, a nice stop, but nothing special.

Room Tip: Watch the entrance, very steep switchback, had to back up to get in driveway with our pickup.

Wife and I did a three day (two night) motorcycle ride in the mountains. We used this hotel for our home base. Quite, clean and with a wonderful view of the surrounding mountains made it the perfect place. Nothing fancy, but nice. Another reviewer mentioned the steep driveway. It is, but you are in the mountains - steep hills come with the territory. (The driveway was no problem for me two-up on a motorcycle.) Very good places to eat are a very short ride/drive away. Morning 'free' breakfast offering was typical of small hotels; bagels, cereal and juice, etc.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the front side of the hotel. The mountain views from there are wonderful.

Room-nice/clean, linens-nice and plentiful, internet service-non-existant in our room which was only steps away from the lobby, the walls were thin, but we weren't really bothered by other guests. The breakfast was not what we expected for the price of the room. The front office staff on the afternoon we checked in was very friendly, but we found the staff on duty the next morning was not as nice. She seemed to be able to fake nice though. I felt sorry for the kitchen attendant because the front desk clerk wouldn't leave her alone and was bossy with her in front of the guests. The grounds around the building need to be cleaned up. There were weeds growing everywhere and it looked generally unkempt. We'd not recommend this place to our friends or family because it just wasn't worth the $.

I recently stayed at this hotel for 4 days and the service was terrific. The staff was very friendly and always available to answer any questions that we had. The rooms were very comfortable and the view was fantastic. Internet connection was very good. Had no problem being able to sign on at all. The breakfast was very good.
