Visited on fathers day was given a set menu and was not informed there was another menu available. The atmosphere within the place was poor and i felt the staff were rushing you out for the table. There was limited selection for the starters i had the bbq ribs which might as well been two bones.. When it came to the main course we were informed that the steaks were pre cooked well done!!.. When served they were burnt, and cold the roast potatoes were like rubber and the chips were also burnt .. The dessert was also of a poor standard of what limited choice there was available. First time eating in this place and will never be back through the doors again !!!

Have visited this establishment twice within the past month. Called in for evening meal on the way home and priase highly both the service and the quality of the meal itself. The second occasion I was there for evening meal with a large group. The meal had been pre-ordered and again service was excellent and the meal hot as it should be and served quickly.

Would have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant to anyone.

Our Group ended its coach trip with a slap up meal at this restaurant, and we were not disappointed. I enjoyed a nicely hot meal, followed by a huge piece of cheesecake. The interior was excellently presented and being next to a river the restaurant sported several sailing boat ornaments. The time spent within was well worth it and definately an establishment to recommend.

We were in the village for only a brief time and stopped in for lunch. It was very quiet and we were practically the only people in the place. The kid behind the bar was helpful and polite. We sat inside, but there was outdoor seating with a view. A great place to sit down and have a meal.

High quality food in a quality little village. Its a gem. So warm and lively. Service is beyond excellent! Everything on the menu is delicious. Beautifully prepared food, so tasty!! Highly recommend. Worth making the trip to this nice little village just to feast at the wild duck. 10/10!
