“Owner is a complete A hole.”
Reviewed 31 May 2014 via mobile

The service was great. Food was mediocre. The worst part was the owner, who doesn't know his rear from a hole in the ground was screaming at his servers about ticket times. Uhhhh.... Shouldn't he know servers don't control how long food takes to cook??? Very low class and unprofessional. Bartender Jan was a rude snobby type. I will not be back again. I suggest Lunas on the square.

The food was bland, overcooked, and rubbery, the owner was screaming obsencities at the cooks, and the atmosphere reminds one of a funeral home. It was the worst restaurant I have ever been to.

“Empty Restaurant tells it all”
Reviewed 18 January 2014 via mobile

Large restaurant with hardly any customers. There must be a reason the Gainesville crowd is staying away. Maybe it's because of the food. Vastly overpriced steaks that had hardly any seasoning. I ordered my steak blackened and still no seasoning. Service was good ! May go back and try again later but unless they get customer they may not be in business very long. Appetizer, salads , entree and desert for two ran about $150 with tip.

“Lovely Dinner”
Reviewed 11 January 2014 via mobile

From the moment we.stepped in until the.moment we left, we felt very welcomed. The service was excellent and the food was wonderful. I had the filet mignon and my husband had the rack of lamb, both cooked to perfection. The chef took time to come to our table to personally ask us how we enioyed our meal. The atmosphere was quiet and romantic. They had live, very subtle music playing. As for price, its right in line with any upscale fine dining restaurants. And loved the fact that we didn't have to fight Atlanta traffic for such a nice meal. Our server was Nicole; she took great care of us. We will definitely return.
