“This place sucks!!”
Reviewed 27 March 2013

Tge drinks are way overpriced. $17 at happy hour for two beers and two shots. The server kept looking at my girlfriend behind my back. He winked at her!! Very disrespectful.

“Very Consistant”
Reviewed 13 May 2012

Since they opened the first El Potro in Savannah 30+ years ago, the food has been good, the staff warm and welcoming and the consistancy very good. I ate there as a kid, a college student and with my family now. It is not the best Tex-Mex ever but it far from the worst. The buffet gives a gourmand everything they might like to eat. The menu is varied and food from it quite good. Avoid peak hours and the service is great.

Don't expect the meal of your life but plan to leave full. Good food, family friendly and a better than average value. Take your kids and enjoy.

Dirty and dingey and a bit sticky but the food is always good - though not particularly authentic which is true of most "foreign" food restaurants.
