My husband had stayed here years ago at Christmas & loved it, but we had even more fun with the kids & Summer activities. Yes it was expensive, but service, food, & activities were top notch. We enjoyed the Yolo boards, kayaks, & wave runners on the lake. The infinity pool was refreshing. They had tons of games & activities for the kids to celebrate the 4th. We can't wait to plan our next trip!

These guys handle the crowd so well! They make you feel so welcome and at home. They are well prepared for the July 4th crowd and have great activities! A shout out for the breakfast crew. The cinnamon rolls should be illegal - never tasted anything so good!!

We spent 3 wonderful days at the Ritz-Carlton Lodge with our family. The resort is beautiful and the service was exceptional. Their was plenty of staff in all areas. The auto valet was a big disappointment. Calling 10 to 15 minutes ahead to have your car brought tot he entrance still aded another 20 minutes to the wait time.30/35 minutes is not good especially when you are paying a high price for valet. To make matters worse my personal car was kept in a location that was dirty ands the car came back filthy. The car was washed prior to arriving at the resort, but had to be washed again after picking up the car. No one apologized. One other item that surprised us was the small bars of soap for the tub and shower. Most 5 star resorts have a nice large bar of soap in the room.We would return, but if my car comes back dirty I would insist that valet was he's the car.

Room Tip: Lake View Room.

I had stayed at this property with just my wife a couple of years ago - it was good, but not as good as when we stayed with the kids. With smores every evening and all the kids activities, it's a great place to bring the kids. Yes - it's not cheap, but there are very few resorts of this type - on a lake where you can do all sorts of different activities - kayaking, canoeing, fishing, Yolo board (my favorite), etc. We stayed at club level, which is not an inexpensive upgrade, but given the food/alcohol prices, it's probably worth it. The club has 5 presentations a day and the food is fresh, with solid choices.

The lake was fun - clean and inviting. The infinity pool was refreshing - it must have a cooling mechanism. The gym was excellent. The indoor pool is one of the nicest I've seen.

We went for two days, but since we did everything and were non-stop, it felt like a week long vacation. We will go back.

Room Tip: High floor; club level if you can.

Spent a full 24 hours at the Ritz-Carlton Reynolds Plantation this past weekend to celebrate a special occasion. I must say, from start to finish, the Ritz lived up to its reputation in every way. Arriving several hours before the "official" check-in, we were warmly received, and with our luggage safely stowed, we were free to explore the beautiful property. Within an hour of arriving, we were called with the great news that our room was ready. We were pleasantly surprised with the discovery our room had been upgraded to a lake view, in addition to a welcome gift acknowledging our anniversary. We took advantage of many amenities, swimming in the lake, the pool, the kayaks, the bicycle trail, etc. We enjoyed meals in 3 of the properties restaurants ... all very delicious. The service of the staff was the best I've experienced in a hotel! It’s worth repeating … the service of the staff was the best I've experienced in a hotel. While we enjoyed ourselves as a couple, we couldn't help but notice how family friendly the resort was, and look forward to returning in the future with our 2 kids. We couldn't ask for a better weekend getaway.

I live in Covington, GA which is 40 minutes from The Ritz-Carlton Lodge, Reynolds Plantation so when my husband & I want a quick getaway that is nearby this is the place we go. The hotel and grounds are very nice. The spa is fabulous. The restaurants are good - Gaby’s by the Lake is especially nice with the Lake Oconee views. We love to stay at Ritz-Carlton hotels and the only negative that I will say about this hotel is the staff is not always on point compared to other Ritz-Carlton's we have stayed at but overall we love this hotel and have stayed here countless times. It is a very popular place now and sometimes it is hard to get a reservation for the weekend.

Room Tip: Get a lakeview room.
