Great trail that passes 6 waterfalls until it ends at Raven Cliff Falls, a unique place. Not strenuous but the entire walk is nearly 6 miles. My favorite trail in Georgia.

This was a nice trail to walk. I have some knee problems so I probably went slower than most so it took us about 3 hrs round trip. Not much climbing just a steady slight incline. Lots of roots & rocks on trails but manageable. Would be too long for my boys to go the whole way but I saw some kids on the trail. Even if u didn't go all the way it's a pretty trip all along the way next to the creek. There is a "hole in the ground" restroom at the trailhead.

My husband and I hiked this trail after it was recommended by a friend. Absolutely loved it! The falls are beautiful! We hiked to the very top and sat on the top of the rocks and enjoyed a snack ( I don't recommend that for everyone, its very strenuous to the top). The main hike to the falls were moderate and very gorgeous! Worth a second trip!

My wife and I make an annual OktoberFest pilgrimage to the Helen, GA area. While we enjoy Helen, our REAL passion is some of the amazing waterfall hikes in the area. The hike to Raven Cliff is not one for someone looking for a very short hike. There are plenty of those in the area, too. Neither is Raven Cliff falls the singular attraction for this hike. Rather, it is a series of adventures, including numerous different waterfalls before you reach Raven Cliff. (See attached video.) There is bountiful diversity along the way. Wildflowers, fungi, wildlife and beautiful trees are to be discovered all along the 2 ½ mile (one way) trek. Keep in mind that it is also 2 ½ miles back to your car. The trail is easily followed. The parking area is just north of the Duke Creek Falls Park. There is primitive camping available, along with pit toilets in the parking area. This is a Forest Service area. There is an info kiosk near the restrooms in the parking area with good info and a map. Hike smart and take a snack and some water. Don’t leave items in your car easily visible. (We have never had a problem, but then we are cautious—this is a remote area.) Take a flashlight if you hike in the afternoon. The hike is not overly strenuous (although you should be in shape to do this one), but with all the stops to explore along the way, we usually spend about five hours on this one, including a picnic at Raven Cliff. And if you love this adventure, check out the Tallulah Gorge hike!

Love..love..love this hike, as it offers shaded hiking while it follows the meandering Dodd Creek and ends in the Falls of Raven Cliffs. Stunning in the Fall with the Chattahoochee National Forest surrounding you. But with the shade provided along the creek, summertime hiking can be comfy as well. It's a 5ml round trip hike..take a snack and sit and enjoy the falls running down a granite outcropping, before heading back.
