this is a great place for a nice weekend hike and camp. no facilities so be prepared to use the woods. its a short hike but can be a bit steep in places. great place for rock climbers too. love this mtn under a clear night. tons of stars and beauty!

Wonderful 5 mile round trip hike. Moderately strenuous. Bring water and watch out for poison ivy. Best of all it's free!

Though far from my favorite hike in the north Georgia mountains, Mount Yonah still provides for a fun and scenic day on the trails. Strenuous enough to make you feel like you're getting a little work in, the trail is still easily accessible for most kids age 6+. Several scenic overviews along the trail provide some great photo ops and the view is stunning in the fall.

You must be in shape to hike this trail! The trail is 2 miles up a steep mountain but the views are so worth it!! We enjoyed the trail very much!

It is a moderate to strenuous hike with nice views but the trails were not well marked and with the fallen leaves you couldn't make the trails out. If your with someone you that knows the way it would be good. I rated it a 3 due to the amount of better and more scenic trails in the area. This is a 5 as a repelling area.
