Indian Mound Cottage is the winter vacation home of the Rockefeller's at the turn of the century. Stop on the Historic Tour of Jekyll Island. This is one "cottage" that stands and is restored to it's original beauty. During the tour you are able to tour both main floors and upstairs. Mounted outside the cottage is a replica RedBug. The RedBug was one of the modes of transportation around the island as well as racing for entertainment. Gives a great glimpse of the history of Jekyll Island.
