Pulling up to the Chanticleer Inn felt like pulling into an oasis. I felt the stress melt away. The inn is comfortable and beautifully decorated. The decor is traditional, but simple. The owners have thought of everything from the throws on the bed to the flowers around the inn, the coffee in your room, the rubber ducks in your bathroom, and an umbrella. We sat around the fire pit and swam in the pool. The breakfast is amazing as well as the afternoon cookies. On the 4th of July, they offered a blanket to watch the fireworks, a s'mores kit, and sparklers. Great tips on restaurants and things to do. They provide wine glasses and a corkscrew. I highly recommend the inn. I can't wait to go back.

Room Tip: Each room has it's separate entrance. Any one of them is fine.

Staying at the Chanticleer Inn Bed & Breakfast was a lovely experience. It was charming, perfectly kept, clean, friendly and convenient to Chattanooga area. My favorite thing was that there were so many little quiet places to sit outside as the weather was perfect while we were there. The bed was VERY comfortable (I slept like a baby) and the sheets were quite silky soft. Breakfast was homemade blueberry pancakes with a dollop of whipped cream sprinkled with blue and red sprinkles for Independence Day. They even provided sparklers :-) We also had perfectly cooked bacon, fresh fruit and yogurt with fabulous granola. There was a variety of homemade quick breads, blueberry peach jam and coffee cake. The coffee was tasty and there were plenty of juices to choose from. We plan to come back and stay longer next time as we enjoy hiking at Cloudland Canyon. (There was also a beautiful pool and a nicely shaded bocce court.)

Room Tip: We stayed in room 3 which was on the end. It was very quiet. Our friends stayed in room 4 next doo...

This was a beautiful place and a wonderful time. The staff was welcoming and the food was delicious. It is right across the street from rock city and minutes away form many attraction on lookout mountain. The location an easy drive to downtown and the Tennessee Aquarium.

Breakfast is wonderful! The little details are her special. Like Smores kit for tonight's firepit. Sparklers for the guest for the 4th. Just an overall great experience! I will return! Friendly staff too!

My wife and I came to celebrate our 19th wedding aniversary. This was our 3rd visit here and is still great!!! Top Quality all around! We stayed in room #5 which was a King Sized Bed. It had a fire place, small frige, coffee maker, cd player, bath robes, and a tub with jets. You are welcomed with cookies and treets which were great. The court yard is beautiful! They have a pool witch is also great. Lot's of pillows and the bed was great in this room!

They had a buffet table with toast, fruit, and cereal at breakfast which runs from 8:30a.m. to 10:00 a.m. They also serve fresh orange juice, cranberry juice, and coffee. The hot breakfast was probaly my biggest dissappointment. It was a pastry puff type of breakfast casserole. It was not that bad, but would have enjoyed a choice of some bacon/sausage and egg.

Room Tip: All rooms seem to be great from what I have experienced! All are different, but all are GREAT!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Chanticleer Inn. The staff was friendly and the food delicious! We arrived in time for the afternoon treats and enjoyed the homemade treats everyday along with yummy breakfast offerings. The rooms were clean and well maintained with all of the furnishings in keeping with the Old style feel of the Inn (We had Room #9) Sitting outside and enjoying the quiet mountain atmosphere was just what we were looking for. And I loved the plush robes that were provided so much I had to buy one to take home with me! We look forward to going back in the future.
