The Marietta Square is a lovely place to meander on a sunny day. The Square itself has lots of benches to sit on and people watch, and there are several nice little restaurants/bars including the Marietta Pizza Company, Sugar Cakes, Hemmingway's, and Thaicoon, our family's favorite Thai spot. There's also a nice wine shop close to the pizza joint. If you love antiques and "junque," you'll also find plenty to enjoy.

Its was okay. Not much to do. A few restaurants. One narly biker bar with plastic cups and such, a good pizza spot, and one notable sandwich type pub with a back court yard. The square has a museum and has some historical aspects but really not much happening. i think the new 200+ home neighborhood being built a block away will change the square over the next 5 years. New shops and bars will move in eventually.

This is a beautiful and historical area of Marietta. This area has great little unique shops and very interesting restaurants. If you happen to be in the area on a Saturday it is a very active area and fun to be a part of. There are benches and places to relax and do some people watching! This area was so beautiful that Sherman's troupes didn't burn it during the war!

Definitely needs a revamp. Have recently been to the square in Woodstock, and it's jumping. It seems to be a "go to spot". Marietta Square has a few nice, new restaurants, but the place right now is not a "happening" place. In the summer months, there are some fun concerts at Glover Park which are free, and a few festivals (food and art).
I feel that although it is a cute square with some nice shops around the park, the square is like a sleepy town square.

Such a cute area with a lot of little quirky, fun shops and interesting restaurants. Don't miss Limelight, L. Michelle, the Christmas/ candy store and the Marietta Wine Market! Glover Park itself is cute with a central fountain and lots of benches. Take a book, grab some food and just relax and enjoy a nice Georgia day!
