blue & gray is an excellent place to stay. The owners are very friendly and make you feel like you are part of their family. they went out of their way to help us enjoy our stay. It is a beautiful quiet house in a very quiet neighborhood.I would love to come back when we are in the area again!!

Room Tip: They have two rooms upstairs one is a little larger than the other, both are comfortable.

Connie and John are wonderful hosts, willing to do anything to make your stay a pleasure. Their home is comfortable and clean. We found them on airbnb and were welcomed heartily and extended every courtesy. Breakfast was yummy (quiche and muffins) and if we ever happen through Marietta again, we'll be sure to stay here.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Connie and John who were welcoming and helpful. Our bedroom and bathroom were kept cool for us and the breakfasts were delicious and served out on the covered deck. Marietta Square was delightful with many interesting boutiques and restaurants. As visitors from the UK, we found Connie and John a mine of useful information and they guided us to various places of interest during our stay. We would certainly not hesitate to stay again and we highly recommend this lovely home.

I always travel with my one of my sons so that we get to spend time together while I work. We had a wonderful stay with Connie and John. The breakfast was excellent and filling. The room was clean and cool in the Atlanta heat. We were right at home and we will be returning for another stay on our next trip through Georgia. We sill be making it a regular on our business trips.
We love B&Bs. I will never stay in a hotel again. B&Bs are the only way to stay.
Thanks John and Connie for letting us stay with you.

Jim Dorchak

Connie and John made us feel like members of the family. Great directions and help getting around Atlanta and finding the best restaurants in Marrietta. Chocolate and port awaited us along with cooled rooms. Breakfast was served beautifully overlooking the wooded lot. Ahh! A nice spot for Civil War buffs, too.

This is a B&B in the most traditional sense. The rooms are in the upstairs of the owners home. My husband and I were guests in one of two rooms (shared bath with the other room which makes it best for couples traveling together - we were the only guests at the time.) We were looking for a small B&B outside Atlanta that was inexpensive and friendly. Blue and Gray fit the bill perfectly. It is the best B&B bargain we have seen in years ($78 per night - the other room which is a little larger was only $10 more). The room was spotless and cozy (small but not claustrophobic, but next time we would choose the larger room. There was additional window AC to supplement central which was great as this was the hottest summer in Atlanta for many years.
Our host and hostess were friendly, helpful, but not intrusive. We had breakfast on a lovely screened deck overlooking a wooded hillside with dozens of birdfeeders for birdwatchers. The breakfasts were excellent - good portions, tasty, perfect start to the day. We were allowed to use their fridge for wine or other beverages.
The location was perfect - you are very close to the city and to several nearby towns like Kennesaw (home to a gem of a national park and Civil War Museum). You had the feeling of being in the country but the convenience of nearby shopping etc... The town square of Marietta is lovely and old-fashioned with great little shops and restaurants and a lovely fountain.
We would definitely return!
