I'm not sure which is better; their wine selection or the food. Either way, I love it! An extensive wine menu and knowledgeable staff make finding the perfect wine easy. The food it outstanding. The crispy calamari, shrimp sambal, and blackeyed pea hummus are a great way to start. Then try the hickory smoked and grilled pork chop. Finish off the meal with a moist and rich tres leches cake. Whether you live in the neighborhood or in town, it's worth the drive.

“Local secret no more!”
Reviewed 2 August 2014

Wow what a surprise when I walked in, didn't expect that type of atmosphere. Service was top notch, our waiter was very knowledgable about the menu and the specials. Ordered both the drink special and the fish tacos. Food was amazing, including the appetizers. Grit fritters with some sort of jalepeno jam sauce...genius.

“Bright & Welcoming”
Reviewed 1 August 2014

How delightful to have brunch in a friendly, sunny, and monetarily reasonable restaurant, that is - at the same time - upscale with lots of atmosphere. Clientele was both young and old, couples and families. Our greeting and our wait staff were both cheery and knowledgeable. The breakfast omelets were fresh, eye-appealing, and delicious - as was my fresh fruit. Ceilings are high, and colorful tile wall decorations are great. We shall certainly be back.

“Dinner as an adventure”
Reviewed 29 July 2014

We chose a weeknight to try this restaurant since it always is so crowded. The cocktails were creative. Our waiter took the time to tell us the story behind most of the items on the menu. It made our meal so much richer as we learned the different spices and cooking techniques used for the dishes. Our waiter made us feel we could stay at our table all night and did not rush us. We had such a nice time relishing our meal and enjoying the ambience of the restaurant.

“Excellent food but noisy; too noisy to really enjoy the food.”
Reviewed 21 July 2014

So you have two choices you can reserve a little spot at the bar which is more pleasant and quieter plus they play very nice flamenco and it can be enjoyed because of the mood but they never really mention it or at the restaurant when you are making the reservation; plus the space at the bar is very limited. The restaurant/kitchen is super noisy. We had a terrible time hearing the waiter. We were sat immediately upon arrival and the drinks and food were served promptly and elegantly. The extreme noise and none availability of booths or a more quiet area makes the experience uncomfortable. I would love to taste this food again but I will not be returning because the ambiance in the restaurant was not elegant at all due to the noise and the closeness of tables.
