“If you've only got two hours ...”
Reviewed 28 June 2014

Seeing other reviews this seems a good way to capture the essence of Atlanta quickly, and it was. Directions to the trolley were clear and trippers were welcomed warmly by our tour guide Homer and driver Curtis. Homer provided a knowledgeable and witty narration with scarcely a gap - quite some feat! I would have like a little more time around Martin Luther King Jr and the Civil Rights history, but there is a lot more to the city than that and Homer got plenty in. It was useful also as an orientation to the city enabling me to venture 'free range' later and know where I was. well done chaps :)

“Outstanding Trip!”
Reviewed 18 November 2013

My wife and I were in Roswell visiting friends. I had spotted the Marietta Historic Trolley on Trip Advisor and wrote it down as a possible experience for us. There is so much history unveiled on this tour. This is a must to do if you have the time. A great value.

“Great Intro to the Area”
Reviewed 29 October 2013

Great way to learn what the area has to offer. Our guide, Audrey, was very knowledgeable and provided wonderful background on the people and places of Marietta. She had obviously done extensive research to make the story as accurate and complete as possible. Highly recommend this tour, even our local host learned a lot about her city.

“Don't do this”
Reviewed 27 October 2013

The ghost tour has serious issues. First, they should stop with the getting on/off again at different sites. It's annoying. Also, it was clear to the person that boarded them, to the other riders near them, and to the driver that stayed on the trolley that some of your riders had medical issues that made this very hard and they chose not to get off. Surely this is not the first time you have had this problem. Your guides should STOP making snide comments and getting annoyed and have a better way to deal with the problem. Also, the drivers should know enough of the sites you visit to be able to tell the stories to those who remain behind. A driver should never shrug and say "I don't know". EVER. And the teasing to get people excited about a site - PLEASE STOP - as it only brings heartache to the guests, as the reality isn't even close. The walking tour may be better, but I'd avoid the trolley.
