We felt right at home and were pleased we had chosen Antebellum Inn as our half-way meeting place. We had overseas friends visiting in Orlando and we wanted to them somewhere half way between Nashville and where they were. We picked Milledgeville because the Antebellum Inn looked so "right" on their web site -- and it was. Especially a second helping on their breakfast dish.

Room Tip: No tip needed - our friends were comfortable and so were wee.

My wife and I stayed at the Inn last weekend for a simple getaway for a couple nights. We found the Inn to be just what we wanted ... very relaxing and warm. The rooms and facilities were immaculate and the most comfortable bed we have ever experienced. Absolutely loved the breakfast and evening wine and cheese.. A very nice touch was the gourmet coffee set up on the second floor. We have never seen this before at a Bed and Breakfast and I enjoyed the service very much at night and early morning. I can tell you this for sure....we will be coming back this Spring or Summer.

Room Tip: We stayed in "The Magnolia Room" Very nice on the second floor. Very quite and private wi...

The Antebellum Inn exudes Southern charm. It's located in the middle of the historic district, within walking distance of the college and the old Governor's Mansion. Our room, the Garden Room, was full of light, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything we could possibly need. The common areas were lovely. There was wine and cheese available in the evening, coffee during the day. Breakfast was a delicious spinach quîche, bacon, and fresh fruit bowl. We can't wait to go back!

I went to visit my daughter who's attending Georgia College, and had a fantastic stay on 2/5. They're in the process of updating a number of the rooms (new bathrooms). I stayed in The Judge...very comfortable w/ plenty of space and a great bed. You can't beat the location, and Stacey (Manager) was very helpful. I already booked my second stay for later this month.

This is a delightful place that the new owners are planning to freshen up with out losing its charm.
The hospitality was great and the service and advice on things to see and do was right on.
As a Canadian I was amazed how many Americans have no idea where Milledgeville is or its historical significance. .
