Hotel was nice. We stayed here in December 2007 on our way down to Disney. The hotel was decent. The only problem we had was that we took our two boys swimming in their indoor pool and both came out itching. There was dirt at the bottom of the pool, which appeared to have come in from the portion of the pool that was on the outside. Both boys had rash for about a day. I'm not sure what they put in their pool that would cause the rash?

The same Drury quality we are accustomed to. Fresh, clean, spacious rooms, great evening reception with free snacks and alcoholic beverages, great AM breakfast offerings. The staff were curtious and helpful.

My husband and I stayed here on our way home from Florida on July 28th. My husband had decided before we left home that he just wanted to drive until he got tired on the way back and find a place to stop at the last minute. Of course this is never a very good idea, but I agreed. When we arrived at this exit we drove to the Drury first, as we have stayed at two of their other hotels and been very pleased with the value for the money. The rate they had posted outside was $89, which was more than we have ever paid at a Drury before. My husband decided to check with a couple of other hotels in the area, but they did not seem as nice and most had outside corridors, which I do not care for. We returned to the Drury and the clerk was checking us in when another guest alerted us to the fact that the hotel had a coupon in one of the books available at the Georgia welcome center and several other places, and were able to get a room with double beds for about $63 with tax. The clerk was patient about changing the paperwork and giving us the lower rate. We have always found all staff at Drury hotels to be extremely pleasant and friendly, which is one of the reasons we have stayed with them before and will do so again. The room was clean and comfortable and the bathroom was spotless. We arrived late at night so we missed the complimentary snacks and beverages in the evening, but enjoyed the breakfast the next day. I would suggest always booking ahead or if you decide to do the last minute thing like we did (and won't do again-lol!) look around for coupons. The hotel offers a parking lot that requires a guest card to access by car, and all outer doors besides the lobby also require a key card. They also have a pool and a small workout room. Can beat it for the price!

Just a note about surrounding dining-all we really saw was a Cracker Barrel and an IHOP. There may have been more near, but these were the two main places close by.

We stayed at this hotel for a one night stay on the way home. We weren't sure about the hotel at first. We took a chance and were glad we did. Once in our room we were pleasantly surprised. It appeared to have been updated recently. The carpet was new. The furniture very nice (2 beds, nightstand, dresser, desk, chair w/ ottoman, chest containing hidden microwave and refrig.). The beds were comfortable. Lots of channels on the t.v. The free breakfast was very good. You can make your waffles which were delicious! There were a lot of guests staying at this hotel so it appears to be a popular stop over. Outside our room overlooked the lobby from the 5th floor. We didn't hear a lot of noise so the walls are thicker than most hotels we've stayed at in the past.

The pool was an indoor/outdoor and great for us. Also had spa/whirlpool. The jacuzzi was showing its age and could use updating. The hours are 9am - 10pm.

We would stay here if we ever pass through again.

Okay, the parking is a little strange, with a room card required to raise a barrier so you can enter the parking area. But the inconvenience should buy you a bit of security, right?

The desk staff was helpful and friendly. The public rooms are very upscale, almost opulent. We saw two elevators, one handy to the lobby and breakfast area and one down in the room area. Our room was nicely furnished. The room and the bath were very clean. TV reception was excellent. Although we carry a laptop computer, we didn't try to use it. We did notice an Ethernet cable was provided, of which we approved. The air conditioner was a bit noisy, but didn't prevent sleep. The breakfast area was pleasant and clean, and the variety was sufficient. Bottom line, we've stayed there before and will likely do so again.

We have stayed at several Drury Inns before, but this one is in need of some repairs. We stayed on the freeway side (noisy) and in addition to the sound of trucks all night there were several problems in the bathroom. Upon closing the bathroom door my wife discovered a pair of men's boxer shorts on the towel clip on the inside of the door. Also there was this smear of brown on the edge of the tub that appeared to be a large cigarette burn (we were supposedly in a non-smoking room). The toilet would run for about 15 minutes after a flush which was annoying. Overall this is just an old, overpriced wanna-be hotel.
