We stayed here in a pop up camper in June. Although temps were 85+ in town, up here it was a cool 75. Another benefit is the rv campground and long, steep road up. It keeps the traffic down and does not allow massive motorhomes up. Many tents and small rv's. Last but not least were the awesome camp hosts, the Graingers, who were awesome to deal with. Peace and quiet.....ahhh!

We visited here for the first time, it was very beautiful, however the steps to the falls looked like a bit much for us, so we skipped that. The visitor center was interesting, but the staff person there and also the one at the trading post seemed to do their jobs as a duty, and were not people friendly. However it is still worth the visit. The amount of time spent there depends so much on what type person you are, and whether one does the falls and trails, etc. Just driving through with doing the visitor center can be done in about two to three hours. We stopped at the overlooks, and also to take photos.

Camping on the mountain is wonderful, even in the summer. It gets nice and cool at night. Miles of hiking trails with great views of the valley below.

You can also hike down to Ada Hi falls. It's only about .25 miles down many, many stairs. If you visit the falls in the summer, your view will be mostly of wet rocks, but the winter (our rainy season) offers a much better flow.

It was a little cold out to really enjoy this place. The Sky Ride was cool and unique. We did not do much else because it was 35 on the top.

Drive up this scenic winding road to an awesome view. Spend awhile on the lookout seated in rocking chair and enjoy the view. Leaves were breathtaking with the mountains alive in color. Nature trails and bathroom facilities.
