The multi-use path that runs around the perimeter of the lake is just short of 4 miles and makes for a great jog or walking route. One half is pretty flat and the other half of the course winds through a hilly neighborhood on Hip Pocket Road, which is an added bonus for leg toning! If you're not already familiar with the area, just make sure to check your path map (available at the library, which is next to Drake Field where I usually park) and take your cell phone with you in case you make a wrong turn and need to navigate back to your intended path.
