Typical Hampton Inn. Extremely clean, good service, okay food. Hotel is right next to I-75. Longhorns steakhouse next door. 2 story hotel.

- Free Parking
If you're looking for a decent hotel right off the interstate to break up your trip to Florida, this is perfect. Several restaurants next to this hotel, and a Wal-Mart Supercenter across the street.
The Hampton Inn in Perry is not a bad option if you have to be in Perry, which is really what you should try to avoid. The location is very convenient to food and the interstate, but without too much noise.
The accommodations are comfortable, which is something that I have come to expect from this brand. Breakfast was decent, with some hot foods and quite a bit of fresh fruit and cereals. The only irritating thing about this hotel is the lack of parking that was close to my room. The closest exterior door to my room was great for leaving the hotel, but when I tried to return, I found the key system didn't work on the outside, leaving me to walk around the hotel until I found a door which would let me in.
I have a little time before leaving this property in Perry Georgia after a two night stay October 18 and 19th. The hotel is conveniently located and their is a Longhorn Restaraunt and many other services and eating places (Mc Donalds, Arby's) within walking distance on the same side of the street. It is a fairly basic Hampton but not without some major problems.
Our room was on the second floor near the front of the motel, if you are facing the motel it would be the right top corner. We overcome by the sound of slamming doors about one every three minutes it sound like a fight or chaos in the hallways and quite purposeful, in reality it was simply the sound the doors make when they are closed. Unbelievable as you would think they were being forcibly slammed. I am not a light sleeper but this was difficult to ignore fortunately it slowed down after 9:00pm but when I called to talk to the front desk and make sure it wasn't something else they informed me that they frequently get this complaint and it is just hotel noise. I didn't asked to be moved as we didn't feel like packing up again so I don't know if they would have been responsive. Our room smelled musty although it was clean save some wierd linty stuff hanging from the ceiling along the edges more like insulation that hung like spanish moss a few inches down some areas of the wall but minimal and not in our way. The bathroom was very clean the hallways were also musty dirty shoe smelling. This was so different than the newer property in Albany we had just stayed at but it had outdoor corridors and these were indoor.
The air conditioning would not stay on it was automatically set to cycle even though we had it on 67 (we like it cold) but the fan from the air cycled too which was annoying as it came on and off every 30 minutes or so (and not quietly ) also since this blessed white noise was the only way of blocking out the slamming sounds and hallway conversations not to mention the conversations of the people next door we desperately wished we could have kept the fan running even if the air shut off. We payed $99.00 a night which is pretty standard and I am not balking at the price as Perry has precious few places to choose from but if you must stay here ask for a first floor room and hopefully the more solid surface will save you some of the jarring. Plenty of parking, did not try the complimentary breakfast, beds were basic nothing to rave about but wouldn't complain, comforters are soft cotton duvet style not wonderful but far superior to the scratchy bed spreads of many hotels in this price range. toiletries in room were adequate and included mouth wash, body wash, moisturizer, make up wipes. Interestingly enough the cute little bottles were probably far spendier than the product they contained so if you care about your hair bring your own shampoo and conditioner.
Our family stayed here for one night on our way to Florida. The place was very nice and clean. The rooms were very nice and clean and the beds were very, very comfortable.
The outdoor pool was very nice and very clean. No bugs or garbage floating around.
The breakfast was very good, as are most Hampton breakfasts!
Overall this is a great hotel - very clean, comfy beds and a great swimming pool!!
I would highly recommend this hotel.
We stay at Hampton Inns very often and are familiar with all their amenities and rooms. This hotel is by far the best option for the traveler staying in Perry, as the rooms are extremely clean and the beds are very comfortable. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The main problem for us is that the hotel is over priced for the amenities that they offer. We have stayed in properties offering much more for less money. There is no indoor pool (I know in the summer this is no problem, but for this money you would expect it) and the breakfast is very limited. The breakfast area is small in comparison to other Hamptons and the choices are disappointing. As we have stayed at many Hampton Inns along I-75, we did feel that this hotel did not offer the value that the others do. Also, the number of appealing restaurants is practically non-existent. One of our major concerns was that the hotel is fenced in, which makes one wonder about the security and the safety of parking your car in the lot. We rarely have second guessed our reservation with Hampton, but when we drove through this industrial fence, it did make us wonder if we had made the right decision. If you can, try for another town along this route.
