“Perfect”
Reviewed 19 April 2014 via mobile

Our stay was perfect. The house is elegant; the hosts are gracious; the breakfasts are delicious and the bed is very comfortable. We walked to nearby restaurants each night and were delighted with the food and service. What more could we wish for? A return visit!

I recently went on a girls trip to Pine Mountain and Callaway Gardens. I have stayed in a few B&B's over the years but this was by far the best experience ever. I would be happy to just go back and stay there with nothing else to do. I cannot say enough good things about Donna and Paul. They truly made you feel like you were guests at there home and not part of their business. The home was absolutely beautiful and immaculate. It was obvious their home and business was a labor of love. I cannot wait for the opportunity to visit again and would highly recommend this B&B to anyone.

Our recent stay with Donna and Paul was the best experience we have had at a B & B and we always stay at B & B's.
The property is immaculate and beautifully decorated. The amenities that they offer go beyond what most B & B's offer. Our room was exceptionally comfortable. The breakfast was outstanding and our hosts were the nicest and kindest couple.
Once you stay there you want to go back again.

As avid geocachers, we have been in the area 3 times previously. Both Callaway Gardens & FDR State Park offer everything a geocacher looks for. Scenic beauty, guided trails, small caves, hidden waterfalls, plain & simply places you never knew existed. We have stayed in the cabins at FDR, Mountain Creek Inn at Callaway & decided to try this nice cozy B&B in downtown Pine Mountain. Can't say enough adjectives to describe the host's. Donna & Paul are very proud of their Inn & it shows at every turn. Caveat. Please don't distract Paul with your travel tales before breakfast, he likes to listen & is quickly "scolded" by Donna for not minding his chores. LOL. This Inn is very conveniently located near several good places to eat. Easy walking distance. We choose to walk to a nearby cafe for Dinner. (Bon Vivant Cafe, another review)....If there's anything I can say slightly negative, get one of the rooms with a private bath...I'm an old man & I don't like going to far for those midnight "potty" breaks. Please try it, you won't be disappointed. I forgot to ask about the Victrola & the pump organ. But we'll be back to get answers to those questions and many more. Many Thanks to Paul & Donna.

Room Tip: As mentioned above. We had the Magnolia Room with private bath down the hall. The room was nice, war...

This was a last minute getaway for me and mine and it was an absolute joy. We pulled up to the parking lot and was promptly greeted by the warmest smiles from Mr. Paul & Mrs. Donna. The external beauty of the home was only surpassed by the immaculate interior detail. I think I must have taken 100 pictures! Lovely, antique decor...warm, inviting spacious rooms and extremely comfortable beds. The breakfast was amazing and the homemade pecan syrup to die for! Everyone was super friendly including their sweet little granddaughter & the next door neighbor's cat. This was our first B&B experience and the bar was set very high! Better than any hotel we've ever stayed in. We truly enjoyed our visit and will definitely be back :-)

What a beautiful home! Every room is decorated so nicely especially with all the added Christmas decorations. Donna put great care in all the little details. We stayed in the Queen Anne Room. It was very spacious and comfortable. Donna and Paul are such gracious hosts, very friendly and easy to talk with. There's a quaint downtown and Calloway Gardens is only 5 mins. away. Warm Springs is 15 mins. away, (another nice stop.) We are coming back in the spring and will definitely be staying at the Chipley Murrah House.

"Girls" trip to Calloway Gardens to see the Christmas lights - although there were no rooms available in the main house for the three of us, we booked the "Golf Cottage" which I think at one time may have been the Carriage House! It was extremely inviting and comfortable! Paul and Donna are excellent Hosts - she had made candy and a cake for guests, had drinks and coffee available at all times - extremely hospitable!! The main house is absolutely STUNNING - what a fabulous job decorating - even more so with the Christmas decorations. I would highly recommend staying with them - just a couple of blocks to the "downtown" unique shops and short distance from Calloway Gardens!

Room Tip: They have 3 cottages which will sleep several people when one room is not adequate!
