The York House is every bit the unique Victorian country estate that its description promises. Service is friendly and gracious. The real surprise is the modern convenience of the guest rooms. Though furnished with period antiques, the room had all the facilities of a 5-star hotel, plus your own (glass!) bottle of spring water! .

Room Tip: We don't think you can go wrong here1

We went to the Awakening of the Vines at Tiger Mt. Winery and spent the night here at the York House Inn. The innkeepers were so nice and we really enjoyed our visit here. Very nice to have a "Happier Hour" with hot hor'd ourves. Breakfast was good too.

We only got to spend one night at the York House, but it was a very charming place. Stan was a wonderful host. The property is beautiful and the rooms were very clean. If I were to say anything negative, the walls are VERY thin because it is a historical house, and the guests below us were up well into the early morning hours. Nothing Stan could have done. He even has signs posted. Just rude people.

Room Tip: We stayed is room #9 which had two double beds. Worked out great since our daughter was with us.

Thank you for your review.
While "quiet time" begins at 10pm, apparently a bridal party had a good time later into the evening. We will be mindful of this this in the future, and as always just let us know and we will maintain quiet. It was a pleasure meeting your family during your educational visit to Foxfire and look forward to seeing your family again next year!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay immensly. Stan was a very gracious host and the property is so beautiful. We enjoyed the wine and cheese Happy Hour and visiting with Stan. He also assisted us with a selection for dinner......of course, we both ate too much, but enjoyed every
bite!

Stan and Christine were excellent hosts. The location was excellent and the house was classic. There's plenty of things to do around the town and plenty of good places to eat as well. The breakfast was great! There have been some to claim this house is haunted but we experienced no issues with that.

York House Inn was the perfect choice for our early spring stay in the North Georgia Mountains! Stan and Christine were amazing. The "Happier" Hour lasted well into 7pm in the "Man Cave". My friend and I agreed it was much more like close friends or family hanging out, talking, sharing funny stories and experiences. The room was warm and toasty with lots of cover on the bed; the room was beautiful. Huge porches with rocking chairs, fun trail in the back of the inn, the breakfast was amazing! Close enough to other northeast georgia areas to make this worth the little bit of extra drive to stay. I will definitely be going back!

My husband and I chose the York House Inn for a Valentiines weekend getaway. We were so glad we did. The Inn is charming and clean, clean, clean. The breakfast was stupendous and abundant. The innkeeper was welcoming and pleasant. There were all kinds of unexpected little extras that made us feel at home - like shortbread cookies and chocolate-covered strawberries waiting for us when we arrived.
