“Fun”

Had a great time. Wine tasting was informative and fun. Had massages going on as well as cheese samples. Nice gift shop. Ended up leaving with 6 bottles of wine and plenty of other goodies.

“Great!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 December 2013 via mobile

I am hooked on wineries!! And this place close to home is one of my favorites. Lots of wine to choose from. And the staff is very nice! The new 2013 holiday cheer wine was amazing!! If you are a local or traveling through. Then it's a must!

“Poor quality wine with very little from Georgia”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 November 2013

If you like average tasting sweet wines this. That may be for you, but even those are limited. Many of the wines are brought in from around the country.... More like a liquor store with a few vines out front...

Hello. Thank you for your feedback and I am sorry to hear of your disappointment. Seems that we did not do a proper job of communicating to you what Georgia Winery is all about. We do produce 100% of our own wines at the facility you visited, using grapes that grow best in their natural environment. Therefore, we support local Georgia Muscadine growers (as well as 15 acres of our own Muscadines) since this Southern grape can be grown in this area without any pesticides or herbicides. Over half of our wines come from Georgia.
We off a Pick N Pay with the Muscadines you saw growing out front as our vineyard is 22 miles from that location. Unfortunately, original vineyard is not open to the public. I would love to offer you a free tour (offered Saturdays at 2:00 and 4:00) with 3rd generation winery family member, Adrian- I am sure you will be more pleased with this experience and learn more about our winemaking philosophy. Email jesse@georgiawines.com if you are interested.
Best of luck to you and I do value your feedback- sounds like we need to do a better job communicating and creating a better experience. With 8 complimentary wine tastings, I am sure we can help you find a sweet wine to your liking.

“If you like sweet wine ..........”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 November 2013

The GA winery is located right off of I-75 at exit 350. Whenever we have out of town guest we often will take them to the winery. Its a fun place to visit and you can sample any number of wines they have for sale prior to purchasing.

Most of the wines that the GA winery carry's are on the sweet side to me and if I drink wine I prefer something a little more dry. But the winery is a very popular place for having wine tastings and other events they sponsor and its practically become a local landmark.

For anyone who likes wine, would highly recommend a trip to the GA Winery. You won't be disappointed.
