We missed our turn in Georgia which we had been driving for all day. Found this place about 10:30PM and decided to stay the night. The receptionist, an older lady was great! We got a great deal. The bed was very comfortable and slept great! Would recommend this place to anyone going in that direction and would stay here again!!

While traveling and booking "on-the-fly" as a retired couple we were looking for an overnight stay. Needless to say, we booked based upon the value. Home Town Inn was open but not originally our first choice. Wow... Thank goodness for good karma, as Home Town Inn was a good place to stay. No, it is not new, but YES it was a good place to stay for the money we spent. If you are on a fixed budget or need above average service on a below average price; stary at Home Town Inn. We will stay again!

Room Tip: Give this hotel a second look...you will not regret it.

We were sent here as kind of an overflow for the local Hampton Inn (kudos to Holly for calling in advance), otherwise we would have never even given this place a second look. Of course I don't know how one could, given that it's kind of off the beaten path so to speak. This place could definitely use some new pillows, unless you like resting your head on a pancake. And there's just something about waking up to the smell of indian cooking that's kind of a put-off. The breakfast area was small and kind of cramped, but still they did have a continental breakfast. Our room, even though we were non-smokers we had to take a smoking room because that's all they had left, the comforter on the bed had actual burn holes in it :-( Probably the best thing this place has going for it is the Hampton Inn...otherwise I would have payed the extra money to saty there.

Room Tip: If it's all that's available-fine, otherwise move on down the road.

This hotel has a lot of issues. For example, the bed blanket we had was so thin that it looked like it had not been changed in 20 years. There was patch work on the walls they didn't bother to paint over. The breakfast was pathetic. How many days does it take for a hard boiled egg to begin to shrivel up? That's what they served... The whole experience felt rather cheap. The mattresses weren't that great. A 2 star is a generous rating. I cannot believe how many people gave this hotel a 5 star! Where did they really stay? This one is off our list.

Room Tip: Don't stay at this hotel.

This is hard to believe but we stayed at a hotel in front of this one on the way down to Florida a week prior and we picked this hotel on the way back home because it was $80.00 cheaper!
I read the reviews and they were not bad so we booked a king bed non smoking room. Very clean and very friendly! I loved the shower head as it went around in circles as you showered! We had a coffee maker a microwave a fridge which we never used but what a nice feature!
Beds a little to firm for me but my hubby had no issues. Pillows a little flat but you can cope with that too!
Wonderful breakfast selection and the orange juice was not the best but so what! The price is so wonderful that you can afford to go to McDonalds! You will not regret your stay here so enjoy the honest fair price and walk away with some spare moola in your pocket! Its a great feeling....

We really liked the nice clean rooms and the very friendly woman who checked us in. There was not a coffee maker in the room, they said they would bring us one, but we said no, it really didn't matter to us, because we were going to the free breakfast in the morning and we got our coffee there. The waffles smelled yummy, but I cannot have glutten, so I enjoyed an apple and a glass of orange juice with my coffee. We would definately stay again and would recomend! :-)
