We have been to Vin 25 since it opened and it has become one of our favorite places to eat. It is especially nice to sit outside under the trees with a great glass of wine (they have an excellent selection) with some small plates (e.g, they have a great Charcuterie Plate). Inside the restaurant is a bit noisy, but that's mainly because my hearing is that all that good in crowded environments.

Excellent and attentive service. Knowledgeable staff on the wines

Park somewhere on Canton Street (or in Vin's parking lot) and walk around old Roswell before or after your glass of wine and meal.

I was very impressed by local bistro Vin 25. The food is consistent with the area and always presented well. Phillip Cooper has a wonderful knowledge of wine and him and his family always make you feel welcome. The best time to go is on Friday and Saturdays when the weather is nice. They have live music outside on the patio. My favorite is Jon Liebman of The Electromatics. His varied duos showcasing blues and jazz are perfect for accompanying our meal on the patio. Tell your friends and come enjoy this great local establishment.

This is a real gem of a restaurant. Went for the second visit tonight with another couple. We liked it as much as we did the first visit. Yay! We sat outside on the comfortable patio under really old, lovely trees. The two piece band which started at 7:00 was really enjoyable and even sitting next to the band, our party of four could converse easily. We started off with the fried risotto balls (arancini) and an order of flat bread of the day. We could have licked the plates clean, but we restrained ourselves.....The waiter knew the wines and easily recommended wines to pair with our choices. Hubby and I went with the house made pasta with scallops. Our friends followed suit, except one went with the risotto and scallops. Hands down the best scallops and house made pasta. One friend said he never orders scallops out because he is always disappointed. Not tonight. Dessert was the peanut butter and chocolate cup and also the lemon ricotta fritters split 4 ways. Nice ending to a very good dinner. We got a kudos for recommending the restaurant. Service Is good: the wait staff is friendly, knowledgable and quick to offer suggestions if needed. The owner makes it a habit to walk through and stop and chat with the guests, a nice touch. We spent a lovely 2 hours enjoying our dinner, never feeling rushed to free up our table. Hubby says it's the kind of place he could stay the whole evening.
The menu is small and we have not worked our way through it yet. We will definitely be back with friends.

Roswell is very busy these days and the noise level at some of the Canton St bars can be loud. Try this quiet and maybe one of the best outdoor patio areas in t.he area. Very charming and an ideal spot to meet for a glass of wine and have a conversation. A full bar is offered if you prefer.
The menu offers a nice but limited variety of small plates and entrees. Vin 25 is a favorite for local residents .

Apparently this wine bar/restaurant has been here for almost 2 yrs. We decided to give it a try upon a friends recommendation. The restaurant is literally hidden behind other buildings. We almost drove past it except there was a small sign.
We went on a Friday night and it had been raining so I am guessing we were lucky to get a table. The restaurant is a converted old house like many of the places in downtown Historic Roswell. The main room was very lively. There was tons of outside seating(but it was raining) and also the wine room can accommodate guests(but its cold).
We found our favorite waiter (Bill) EVER here serving in the bar he used to be around the corner at another of our fav places. He is AWESOME!
We decided to order small plates so we could try many dishes. Not one of the plates failed us. The Mussels in a thai coconut curry sauce over grits was THE BEST. My husband loved the lemon ricotta desert.
We couldn't agree on wines so we got by the glass but what I had was really good. My husband loves his dessert wine so Coup (who is the owner) came to the table with 3 selections allowing my husband to taste them all and make his selection. He chose a Hungarian wine Royal Tokoji. He had a glass and then proceeded to purchase the rest of the bottle to take home (love that new law in GA). We really enjoyed talking to Coup and his father-in-law. I love that they have their personal touch on service.
We can wait to go back and be able to sit outside and enjoy some GA weather.
