This is a real gem of a restaurant. Went for the second visit tonight with another couple. We liked it as much as we did the first visit. Yay! We sat outside on the comfortable patio under really old, lovely trees. The two piece band which started at 7:00 was really enjoyable and even sitting next to the band, our party of four could converse easily. We started off with the fried risotto balls (arancini) and an order of flat bread of the day. We could have licked the plates clean, but we restrained ourselves.....The waiter knew the wines and easily recommended wines to pair with our choices. Hubby and I went with the house made pasta with scallops. Our friends followed suit, except one went with the risotto and scallops. Hands down the best scallops and house made pasta. One friend said he never orders scallops out because he is always disappointed. Not tonight. Dessert was the peanut butter and chocolate cup and also the lemon ricotta fritters split 4 ways. Nice ending to a very good dinner. We got a kudos for recommending the restaurant. Service Is good: the wait staff is friendly, knowledgable and quick to offer suggestions if needed. The owner makes it a habit to walk through and stop and chat with the guests, a nice touch. We spent a lovely 2 hours enjoying our dinner, never feeling rushed to free up our table. Hubby says it's the kind of place he could stay the whole evening.
The menu is small and we have not worked our way through it yet. We will definitely be back with friends.
