“Bye, bye Rice”
Reviewed 20 July 2014

We have visited Rice for more than 5 years, two to three times a year. Over time, the restaurant has become more sophisticated in its presentation and menu, food has been of consistent quality, we're missing the live music but most importantly it has become way overpriced. Last night was the final straw.

In the past a dinner with the 5 of us including one kid's portion would be less than $100 including a few glasses of wine, and two two shared appetizers. This was still the case in the fall of 2013.

This winter we had noticed prices had jumped to around $120 or so. Last night (with only one glass of wine @$8!) we paid $150!!

These are downtown prices for a big city, eg. Atlanta, but not for the burbs. And to justify this in the burbs you'll have to do something more extraordinary because with prices at @2x those of another local Thai restaurant a couple of miles, we'll save the $60-70 extra for movie tickets and still have a good meal.

Bye, bye Rice, it was nice while it lasted...

“Still cute and authentic after so many years”
Reviewed 23 June 2014

Very happy to visit Rice Thai in Roswell recently after a long gap of 7+ years!.. when I spent considerable amount of time in Atlanta on business in 2006, this place used to be always on the list. Wasn't sure how it would hold up after so many years and we were pleasantly surprised. Wild Curry ( a/k/a Jungle Curry or "Gang Pa") was amazingly flavorful, so was green curry with chicken. Prices are reasonable and service efficient. The small house setting that is typical of many eateries in Roswell adds to the charm. Highly recommended!

“Overpriced! Tasteless”
Reviewed 3 April 2014 via mobile

I ordered the Tom Yum Soup which is a spicy flavorful soup. Not here. Very bland. Plus it was lukewarm and the shrimp tasted like rubber. The shrimp lemongrass salad had a weird tasting dressing--kind of bitter. My husband had the masaman curry which was OK. We've certainly had better. The basil rolls lacked flavor. They couldn't have made them any smaller. To make matters worse, its rather pricey

“Not much of a Thai person, but loved my food!”
Reviewed 10 February 2014

Like my title says, I'm not one to seek out Thai restaurants, but this place was fantastic! I'll definitely return. I had the shrimp and scallop entree and my wife had fried rice. DELICIOUS!
