This is one of the best places in Roswell for sandwiches, soup and salads. You get great food, ample portions and great value. Good southern hospitality.

I went there with 3 other women for lunch on a busy Friday. We had to wait about 10 minutes for a seat which was no problem. During our wait we had no less than 4 people come up to check on us ("Have you been helped? Can I get you anything while you wait? It wont be much longer. etc.) So nice. Then we went to order and what a delight! The counter person was so helpful with suggestions, recommendations etc. We are from the North so we are used to being hustled along and this was so calm and unhurried. We got a wide range of things - Fried Pickles and Homemade Chips with Blue Cheese to start - both heavenly. Then in our group we got a Fried Green Tomato Sandwich, a Brie BLT, a Reuben and an Asian Salad. Everything was so good. The Brie BLT may be the best sandwich I have ever tasted. We all had to take at least half of our sandwiches home - this place is liberal with the servings. We got cookies to go - the Lemon Poppy (OMG) and the Oatmeal (perfect). We had wonderful service, fabulous food, and a really great experience. My sister is moving to the area and this will be a regular place for her (and me when I visit!).

This is a little, casually fun soup and sandwich spot with interesting daily specials and a big enough menu for everyone to get what they want. We did a lot of sharing! While there was an "out-the-door" line the day we went, we took a moment to let the busy staff know it was our first time to visit. They told us the drill and it was all pretty easy from there. We liked being assigned a back patio table and felt the wait staff was very attentive even though serve-yourself water, iced tea etc. is available inside and outside in the barn. The nooks and separate patios helped cut the feeling of being crowded, and while a "hot" family spot there was never a time we felt overrun by little ones. We will return next time we're in town to try a few more items. You know it's a good menu when you just can't make up your mind what to get because all the choices sound yummy.
