Were were met by Melissa. I only found out her name by asking another agent who she was. No one wears name badges so you need to ask. The check-in experience at this Hampton is not the norm. Melissa made no eye contact, no info regarding breakfast times and snapped her gum the entire time. I made an error when I booked the room online by accidentally requesting two queens instead of a king room. When I asked if we could change to a king Melissa simply said it would cost more. Okay, so how about, "Let me see what I have and there may be an additional charge." The customer service left something to desire. The hotel is clean and newly updated. In fact, the lobby is under construction which was not an issue. The location is good. In all fairness all my requests (i.e. quiet room, upper floor) were honored.
