It is. Its fun. Its noisy, Its busy.
It has a fine staff and what I think is probably the last of the real short order cooks left in this world, who works with his back to the counter and juggles a long line of orders hung from the hood in front of him. The grill can have everything from eggs, bacon and sausage to an occasional flap jack, ( he's not supposed to make them), or a grilled sandwich.

Open 24 hours a day, but still remarkably clean, this is maybe the last of this kind of place.
Over the years, I have eaten there with one of the local characters who knows everyone and everyone knows him and they all stop and chat on the way in or out.
A good, Triple C, (calories, carbs and cholesterol), heart-stopper breakfast of waffles, eggs and sausage is still $4.99...or at least it was last week.
Don't miss it. Near the Post Office and close to the airport (SSI).
