The booking process was very easy and very flexible, you had all the information you needed prior to the event.
On arrival, I have to say it was chaos, the drive and car park is totally inadequate for the numbers of people arriving and parking either to drop off or to stay for the day. If you are staying for the day, beware - all cars are parked one in front of the other so if you arrive early you will be last to leave! This really needs attention from the owners as an area for improvement, the drive needs widening and more car parking is required. Talking to one of the Marshalls, they said the day we went was not one of the busy days so I dread to think what it is like on a very busy day! Our car was damaged whilst parked for the day and of course the culprit did not do the honest thing and own up either. The manager was made aware of this, but of course cars are parked at owners risk. This did put a dampner on the day unfortunately :(.
In terms of the paint balling, it was very well organised, safety is very important and they took this very seriously. There are plenty of benches and also covered areas to sit. Tea and coffee is free which is a nice touch. the area is kept very tidy throughout the day with bins being emptied regularly. The day is action packed from start to end with clear instructions of how much time you have before the next game starts etc.
Paintballs are very expensive but it seems all these types of place charge the same - beware, you will need more paintballs than you think!
If you are taking children/teenagers, I would recommend staying with them, just to help with the decanting of the paintballs in between the games and to have lunch ready for them. We took a picnic though you can order pizzas which looked ok.
All in all (with exception of car damage) they boys had a great day and thoroughly enjoyed it and will no doubt want to go again!
