Our family recently stayed at this hotel. Since there are 5 of us it is sometimes hard to find a hotel to accomedate the entire family in one room. We were so excited about finding one that looked like it would work! It was a little tight but worked. Bathroom was awkward. I thought from the pictures and the description that there were 2 bathrooms but it instead there was only one with walk through access from the bedroom as well as into the common seating area. Parking was ridiculously insufficient for a hotel this size. Half of the parking lot was blocked by a tent. With no signs letting you know that you couldn't turn around which caused a lot of issues for us. The pool was another reason for choosing this hotel. It was refreshing for the 10 minutes we were able to use it. Although the signs posted it was open until 11:00 every day. About 30 guests were told by a hotel employee to vacate the pool immediately so they could put the chemicals in it at 10:15. My husband asked about the posted 11:00 time and the employee replied that by 11 all of the cleaning and chemicals had to done because his shift ended at 11:00. My husband asked the Night Manager and he apologized stating that wasn't correct and he would look into it. Unfortunately there was nothing he could do about it now. While I understand that statement was very true I believe he could of handled it differently and that didn't help the disappointed kids. We had asked for extra pillows and blankets for our room since there were 5 of us before going to the pool. Since we were heading back to our room we asked the front desk if we could just take them with us. We were informed by the front desk as well as the night manager that they were already put in our room. Although I explained that 15 minutes ago they had not been placed there they argued that they would be there when we got there. They were wrong so my husband went back downstairs to get them and was ignored at first by all the staff and then the manager saw him and walked the other way. He did finally get our pillows and blankets but it was a huge ordeal. I understand that dealing with the public isn't always pleasant. I do it everyday myself and there are people that can be handfuls. I do not understand how a reputable hotel like this one can indulge in such poor management and staff and expect people to come back. Three stars are strictly for the hotel's cleanliness and convenience to the freeway. We will look for a different hotel our next trip to Atlanta, utilizing and paying for two rooms would be a better experience than this one was. Very disappointing for a Hilton.
Thank you for your feedback and I want to apologize for the issues you encountered during your visit. This was addressed with the appropriate staff to ensure this does not reoccur. If you are planning to return to the Perimeter area please let us know as we would like to ensure that your next visit is much better should you choose to do so. Thank you. I recently visited this hotel...-- July 19th for three days. It is not a five star, but is is a nice place to stay. Our room was on the 6th floor...very clean. The suite was more than big enough for two of us-could accomodate a couply more too. I really liked the area..felt safe and many convenient aspects...mall three minutes away...good to see the Cheese Cake Factory...a Publix store near by and we found a Pancake house about 7 minutes away. I recommend that you bring your snacks because the hotel market is very expensive.
The staff was very pleasant and helpful...we came in Thursday evening and fresh cookies were waiting for us. We did not use the restaurant or the pool therefore I cannot comment on those things.
Also, if you need to have conversation with housekeeping, they do not understand English.
One last thing, I was able to print my boarding pass on the lobby computer free.
Thank you for your feedback and we were pleased to hear that you had a good experience during your stay at the hotel. We thank you for your business and please let me know if I can be of any further service. Bob Belmonte, General Manager
We were working a trade show in downtown ATL and were being housed at this property. We found it to be a real mixed bag. The room itself was clean and comfortable and it is very close to the the MARTA, as well as plenty of restaurants. The breakfast buffet was very nice and included a wide variety of foods as well as a made to order omelet station. The full bar was nice, but closed so early and was expensive I thought (even for a hotel). The servers in the restaurant and the bartenders were excellent!
We had a some black stuff on our sheets the first night. Well, that's fine. Call down to the desk and get a fresh top sheet...no harm, no foul. No one from the front desk answered the phone even though we continuously rang it for over 20 minutes. When my traveling partner headed down to the desk personally to get sheets, he met some employee in the hall who graciously and quickly responded to our need. THEN, the next evening we had no towels in the room, none. Again, another trip to the desk.
All in all, it was fine. However, with so many properties in the area, I'm not sure I wouldn't at least explore other options in that vicinity if I'm in the area again. I can't recommend it, but I wouldn't wave you off of it either.
Thank you for the feedback and I have shared your comments with our staff in order to improve our service. We appreciate your business and would like an opportunity to be of service to you again. Please do not hesitate to contact me directly if i can be of any further service. Kindest Regards, Bob Belmonte/General Manager.
I have stayed here many times without incident and even wrote a glowing review for this hotel. The last time I stayed here, I had housekeeping leave behind a container of sex lubricate on my night stand. They changed my room and offered me my payment back.
I never received payment until I filled out the Hilton.com survey (one week later). Within one hour, Corporate refunded me. I really wanted to like this property but was really shocked by this.
To top things off, when I went to the parking lot to get my car the next morning, there was a family of four all asleep in their car. It could happen anywhere but certainly was disturbing.
I stayed here many times without incident. Just use my review as an FYI.
Thank you for your response and we again apologize for the over sight from our housekeeping services. The processing of your credit through the system took time to process and we appreciate your patience. If you are planning a trip back in the area please contact me directly, we would like to ensure you have a better experience with us and would appreciate the opportunity to do so. Kindest Regards, Bob Belmonte, General Manager.
This is a first-class establishment; comfortable, spacious, clean and well-equipped suites. My wife loved the pillows and the clean sheets. The internet conncetion worked well. The staff and breakfast buffet were excellent. Staff worked with us to do a book-launch/ signing. The front-desk, as well as custodial staff were friendly, helpful and professional. They treated us like royalty.
Thank you for your response and I am glad to hear that the staff took good care of you during your visit. Please let us know if we could be of any future service. Bob Belmonte/General Manager.
