We've stayed at the Brasenose several times. The food is really excellent and good value and the accommodation is very pleasant and well priced. The rooms are in a separate block and are very peaceful with good sized comfortable, warm rooms.

Depending on which night you stay you'll find live music and a very friendly atmosphere in the bar in the evening. The breakfasts are really good value and I'd recommend this place to stay for anyone wanting to spend some time in Cropredy which itself is a lovely village.

Great little pub, with oodles of character. Staff are friendly, and food is excellent!
Whilst working in the area I have often used this as a place to eat with colleagues and friends. All the staff are lovely, great menu and good range of beers!

The Brasenose Arms served the purpose while I was on business in the area. I received a pleasant welcome & the atmosphere was good. The room was just about an acceptable size, it was clean & comfortable & at the time I stayed, quite. The walls are a little on the thin side, & you can hear the slightest noise from the corridor & rooms adjacent. Fortunately there were not too many guests while I was there. I was glad that there was not a heavy snorer in the room next door. The en suit was on the small side but sufficed. The room could do with an upgrade & as with a lot of hotels I visit, the toilet seat was very loose. Hotels never check for some reason. The carpet had obviously not been vacuumed on a regular basis as it was gritty underfoot, I always take my shoes off as soon as I go into a room, & I could feel small gritty pieces. The meals were very good & at a reasonable price, although they don't serve breakfast early enough which means that I had to make do with a packed lunch instead for the first morning as I would have been late for my appointment, & they made the packed lunch the night before. The location was not ideal for me, but my other choices were either fully booked or very expensive, can't have everything.

I have beeb to England twice now and the Brasenose Arms served the best food of both trips! The traditional English breakfast was not only delicious but it was served with a smile. The owner was so friendly and helpful when asking for recommendations on where we shoshould spend the two short daya we had to explore the area. The chips were incredible! They also served great beer. The rooms were quaint, clean and comfortable. The only thing missing was a hairdryer. My fiance and I really enjoyed the Brasenose Arms and will return one day!

Stayed at the Brasenose for 1 night to celebrate a special occasion. The village is a lovely place to walk around and the B&B is well situated. The rooms were large, clean and comfortable and the owners were very friendly and accommodating.

Lovely village by the canal. We stayed here as we were visiting friends who have a canal boat at the Marina. Accommodation which was clean is attached to the pub but not overly noisy. The room we had was ideal for our needs although shower was a bit small. Meals are very good, we had an evening meal and breakfast. Staff were very friendly and helpful. If we are back in the area again we will certainly stay here again.

Stayed at the Brasenose during the Afrikalinx festival, great music (It is getting a well deserved reputaion for laying on some fine musical events, not least the Fairport Convention Festival Fringe Every year in August). Our en-suite room was more than adequate, comfortable and overlooked the garden and the stage. Breakfast was excellent, freshly prepared and plentiful, as was Dinner, which although very busy was served by polite and professional staff. To top it all, Cropredy is a fantastic little village on the Oxford canal and the Cherwell with some lovely walks.
