We (two couples) stayed for one night at Sassafras Springs whilst passing through the area to visit Mt Field National Park on a touring holiday and we were all very impressed. We stayed in the Old Farmhouse (there are several accommodation options) and were impressed with the wonderful, rustic nature of the spacious, functional house. The two bedrooms we used (there is a third with two singles) were tastefully decorated and comfortable. The large kitchen/dining/lounge room is heated by a wood heater and we were easily able to cook a meal for the four of us (using some freshly picked veggies from the veggie garden that is made available to guests - a real bonus). The outlook down the valley is relaxing and peaceful. Briony was a very welcoming host and we all wished we had planned to stay for longer. Highly recommended.
