We visited on a weekday during off-peak season. The funicular was closed due to high winds, so most of the other touristy attractions were closed. The carving itself is spectacular. The museums were fairly musty, with some videos playing. There are extra charges for some of the more specialized exhibits. The hike to the top was fairly strenuous near the top, but the views were very good. A lovely day in a state park.
