“Beautiful, welcoming cottage perfect for relaxing break”
Reviewed 28 April 2015 for a stay in April 2015

Myself and family members stayed in this cottage for a 3night weekend break. The cottage is furnished to a very high standard, is full of character and comfortably accommodated 6 adults and a child. We loved the rural surroundings and the cottage provided us with a great base to explore local towns, then lending itself as a relaxing retreat to return to after. The cottage has everything you need for cooking/dining etc and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

“Lovely rural cottage”

Well presented and equipped cottage - suitable for a relaxing break. I would recommend as a base for a Norfolk holiday.

“Fantastic late Easter stay”
Reviewed 19 April 2015 for a stay in April 2015

This was a last minute booking which couldn't have worked out better for us. Lovely cottage in a very small village but close to amenities in Holt and within walking distance to beech and restaurant and about a mile from two pub/restaurants. Beautiful beeches and villages nearby. Probably our only gripe would be the broken PSII/DVD player, but there was Sky available so not too bad. From the kids point of view, they did miss not having mobile connection/WiFi but I must say that really didn't bother me, in fact it was a bonus!

“Pleased we found this lovely cottage”
Reviewed 26 February 2015 for a stay in February 2015

We wanted to buy this house! Sadly it wasn't for sale and my commute to London would have been slightly problematic...

Beautifully presented (looks like it was decorated yesterday), with a lovely big sociable kitchen diner. The wood burner was wonderful given our winter booking and really made the heart of the home glow. Really pretty views from every window, (including a glimpse of the sea over the fields from the kitchen sink) and I can imagine the conservatory and garden would be glorious in summer. Well stocked kitchen - looked brand new; comfortable beds (though not huge); spotless bathrooms.

Pictures don't show it, but the house is right on the north norfolk coast road. This was absolutely not a problem for us - we found the odd car going past was not at all intrusive and we soon stopped even noticing, but it is worth noting. The lovely garden is entirely walled off on the road side so young children would be quite safe.

At the moment there is no wifi or internet, and 3g reception was non-existent. This made meeting up with friends tricky (we found a bit of reception for voice calls in the bedrooms); the owner (who has been very responsive and helpful) told us that he plans to proide wifi in the future, so hopefully this will become a non-issue.

Our toddler loved being able to cavort around on his little trike; he also loved having his bath downstairs while we cooked dinner; however inevitably he also loved trying to climb the open-plan stairs, so parents need to keep an eye out!

Having one bedroom and one bathroom downstairs probably makes it suitable for those with limited mobility, though the ground floor isn't completely flat.

This is a truly relaxing place to spend a few days - it was exactly what we needed, and we're so glad we found it. Thank you for a lovely stay!

“A great seaside cottage”
Reviewed 24 February 2015 for a stay in February 2015

We've just got home from a lovely weekend break in such a perfect cottage. There was plenty of space for 6 adults and a child, the decor was very tasteful and it was extremely good value. We will definitely be going back!
