This is the island and local bar and restaurant. During the day you can sit down and grab good food quickly for a good price. There are people playing cornhole behind you and probably a sports game on the TV. Depending on who is bartending the play list is always different and the location is tucked a little ways off the road so there are not sounds of traffic or views of car/people going by.
At night this was the better bar on the island to grab a drink at and have some interesting conversations. Do not be afraid of the locals or long time visitors, most have good stories and are friendly. Appeared that dogs are welcomed and the bar food matches well with the cheap beers and good tunes. Simple laid back island bar.
