After touring museum and lighthouse located nearby we were thirsty and went to this restaurant. We only got beer and tea but they were not expensive. Did see some food dishes going out that looked great. Great location right near the beach. Very casual laid back atmosphere.

This is a laid back place. If you go, plan to spend some time here. Enjoyed the atmosphere, and the food was pretty good (crab cake sandwich). My food arrived about five minutes before my dining companion. Then, we waited a long time to get ranch dressing (ordered with the meal order) ...first they brought blue cheese and by the time it came we were nearly done with the meal. This was disappointing. Our waiter seemed to disappear midway through the meal without anyone covering his table. Kind of a frustrating experience.

My husband had the sauteed shrimp, at the suggestion of our amazing server. He loved it! Shrimp is served with a spicy sauce, make sure you order bread to dip in it so you can soak up every bit of deliciousness. I had the fish taco, which was wonderful as well.

Views of the beach were a nice bonus.

When to North Beach on Tuesday, May 6, 2014 around 8 p.m. Not very busy. Ordered margarities. Waiter suggested we upgrade to top shelf with fresh squeezed juice. Margarities he brought us were almost like water with a little liquor. One person in our party asked him to taste it and he agreeded. Bartender came over and apologized. He said, "well these are Skinny Girl margarities". What, Bethany Frankel's Skinny Girl Margarities and we ordered top shelf!!! We finally got fair margarities for a steep price. Everyone in party ordered Escorvitch (whole fried fish) and asked before what type fish, waiter replied Black Sea Bass. Wow, sounded great! After a very long wait, our waiter brought four fried fish plates out and states, "sorry we are out of Black Sea Bass, so I brought you some Flounder". What, are you kidding. Why didn't you tell us when we ordered. Apparently management of this restaurant do not spend time training their bartenders or waiters. We consider this very unaccepable service. Do not waste your time or money going to this place.

Might be a nice place to sip on a few beers. But other than that. Not to pleased with food or menu. Long wait to eat and once the food got there was totally disappointed with the sausage jalapeno beans and rice. Band playing "the band with no name" could use some singing lessons
