The view from the lighthouse gave me a huge appreciation of the north tybee beach! I could see side by side our private beach access and the public beach access, and I was thrilled we shared our beach with 12 other families and couples tops, in mid sept... compared to hundreds south of us. The constant breeze was amazing. The only thing I didnt enjoy is that there is no dry sand except for the dune areas. The entire beach is wet or damo sand, very messy. In saying that, my kids LOVED it! They could build sandcastles any & everywhere!!
