Stopped by for an early lunch after touring the lighthouse and museum. We were greeted and seated quickly and decided it wasn't too early for the 2 for 1 special. Both Margaritas were perfect for the early lunch--lots of ice in a thick glass kept the alcohol amount down. We decided to go with the Garlic Pommes Frites for a starter and, boy, were they good. The fries were hot and crispy (Belgian style) and were topped with a healthy amount of Parmesan cheese and chopped garlic. The wife ordered the shrimp poboy with a side of garlic green beans and I had the oyster poboy with the side salad and blue cheese dressing. The shrimp and oysters were both fresh and well cooked, but there were only 6 of each of the nice Italian bread roll dressed with lettuce, onion and tomato. I might have like another couple pieces of the fish in the sandwich, but that is being a bit picky. We finished off by sharing a wonderful hot fudge brownie sundae. At the end the waitress offered to put our ice waters in to go cups for us, definitely a nice touch. The waitress was very, very good.
