This is a great place to bring people to give them a taste of Georgia. The fishing and hunting ain't bad and there are some great photo opportunities as well. This is a user fee area so make sure you have a Georgia outdoor pass or equivalent. If you have the sportsman or wma on your license you are good to go.

Nice and slow. No hurry here. The sensation of this visit is to be quiet and listen to the quiet voice of creation. The longer you listen the louder it becomes to where your voice cannot be heard; so, don't try to talk. Take it in and record what you see and hear your way - sketch pad, canvas, still or video camera. Enjoy!

Wonderful back to nature experience not far from town. There is a boardwalk that goes out to a tower. You may see alligators, birds, bugs, flowers, etc. Just a nice way to reconnect with nature.

Went to Grand Bay on a VSU field trip with a Biology class. Nice place. Definitely climb the tower and take a look around from up there. The alligators were croaking the day we went. I'd never heard them make noises like that before. Very cool place and worth a visit!
