I cannot say enough wonderful things about this hotel. A great staff, clean rooms, wonderful beds and a convenient location. The breakfast was delicious. There were only a couple of sore spots for us. As we were leaving the next day, the restaurant didn't open on time which caused us to leave out later than we had planned. The staff didn't seem to make an effort to compensate for the delay. Mary, one of the hostesses was polite, but Toni the other hostess wasn't very friendly and she seemed very confused about her duties. She couldn't operate the cash register and she had problems with a couple of the guest's orders. The ultimate sore spot which seem to be a sanitary issue was to have the rim of the drinking glasses placed directly on all of the tables without a coaster or napkin. I must say that Mary was very nice about providing a glass that wasn't placed down on the table. The restaurant experience didn't dampen our stay. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Paritz,

Thank you for you staying at our hotel and for the many nice things you commented on in your review. I am very sorry for the issues you experienced at breakfast on your departure day.

We are now placing all cups on placements to assure our guests that every dish stays sanitized before their use. We've also made some staffing adjustments to better serve our customers.

Thank you again and we do hope to see you again soon!

Sincerely,
David Fontaine

We stayed at this hotel on 5/28/14. The check in was fast however, make sure you ask for a non smoking room. We were surprised when we walked into our room and it reeked of smoke....we went back to the desk and they apologized and changed us to a non smoking room. We did not realize that some hotels still have smoking rooms.
The room was nice, the restaurant/bar was good...you will get a coupon for a free drink...we also had a couple of hors dhouerves which were quite good.
A good choice for an overnight and would likely be nice for an extended stay.

Room Tip: Make sure you specify non-smoking if that is your preference.

Bill,

Thank you for staying at our Holiday Inn! We are glad to know you had a nice stop and that you were able to experience some of the great food at our restaurant, Azalea's.

We are in the final stages of shifting to a completely non-smoking hotel. I do apologize for initially placing you in one of our remaining smoking rooms and am glad we were able to move you to a more appropriate room.

Please come see us again the next time your travels bring you through Valdosta!

Kind regards,
David Fontaine

With most trips I take, the hotel is part of the travel experience. However for this trip, the goal was to find a clean and convenient hotel that was local to the Wild Adventures amusement park. Holiday Inn is a familiar name and synonymous with a no-frills getaway. In most cases the product they offer is consistent from location to location and is why I chose it.

Upon arrival, the check in experience was flawless, the room was clean and in step with times. The hotel does have a restaurant but should you get there late (after 10:00 pm), don't expect anything from the kitchen! They do have some restaurants that are walking distance from the hotel.

The big reason why we chose this is that it was very close to the amusement park. With only one exit south from the hotel location, the park is less than 15 minutes away. And that my friend was the reason for choosing this hotel.

If you are looking looking to take your family to the Wild Adventures amusement park and need a place to stay for the night, Holiday Inn Hotel and Conference Center is something to consider.

As a season ticket holder to Wild Adventures, I will be using this hotel again as my stay over hub.

Room Tip: A great place to stay if you have children and are going to visit the amusement park. In fact, I saw a lot of families there utilizing the hotel for the exact same thing.

Bill,

We are delighted to know you had a great stay at our Holiday Inn! We make every effort to provide a positive contribution to each travel experience and are glad we were able to do that during your trip to Wild Adventures.

We are one of the closest full service hotels to the amusement park and, though you chose us for our proximity, we look forward to providing exceptional service for you every time you stay with us this season.

Thank you and we'll see you soon,

This relatively new hotel is clean & fresh. The traditional complimentary breakfast has been replaced with a complimentary evening beverage. You may now order your breakfast from a menu (higher quality than the traditional complimentary fare). The dinner menu & atmosphere was uninviting. On the plus side, Austin's Cattle Company is a short ride down the road.

This Hotel had a very New build look with a great room and staff. We Loved Alexia and Jason and the desk! Everyone was very helpful and the feel was very clean and comfortable and close the to Valdosta State University where our niece was graduating. Thank for being a great place to have a two night stay. Oh, this hotel has a nice outdoor pool, hotel restaurant and close to some great shopping, movie theatres and other restaurant. DMS & Dana

Room Tip: Hotel is very close the Horse Creek Winery that we had a Great time visiting.
