“Great Beach Camp!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 August 2013 via mobile

As soon as you arrive to Jeeva Beloam you realize that you are in a very special place. After a 3 hour drive from Jeeva Klui Resort in north Lombok, where we enjoyed 3 days, we were ready to discover south Lombok's off the beaten track.
Jeeva Beloam is an amazing Beach Camp located in a secluded beach surrounded of trees. The location is superb, and the area is full of places to discover. The bungalows are very well decorated in indonesian style, with a huge comfortable bed, cool bath and great veranda with a big sofa where you can spend hours admiring the beautiful views to the beach and sea. Staff are nice and always with a smile ready to help. You can do several activities, we did snorkelling in a nice beach close to the Beach Camp, and don't miss the sunset view at their hidden beach: amazing!
Food is very nice, and the quality is excellent. It is true that it would be nice if you could choose between 2 entries, as you do with the mains and dessert, but no complaint at all.
We really had an incredible stay at Jeeva Beloam, and we strongly recomment it!
And don't forget to watch the stars at night!!

We arrived on Saturday and by Sunday afternoon forgot I owned an iPad and iPhone.
Played a game, read my book, ate and generally chilled out. After 3 days I could of stayed for a month.
The beach is your and yours alone.
No noise, only the ocean's waves breaking a silence, which we loved.
I am sure it's not for everyone but all the other guest we met were very lovely and interesting.
Would I return, of course.

Room Tip: Sea view is the best

This july we stayed for 5 days in Jeeva Beloam Beach Camp and what an experience it was. If you ever have the feeling that modern life is too hectic and you need some time-out this is the place to go. When we arrived at the camp we could not believe our eyes, what a breath-taking scenery. The camp is superbly designed with just right mix of comfort, luxery and simplicity. Concact with the outside world is limited and we regarded this as a big plus. Nearby is Pink Beach where the snorkeling is very good. The 3 set menu meals that were provided, were of an excellent standard. Jeeva Beloem greatest asset is its staff, it seemed that they could read our minds. The manager Arwin was very helpfull with organizing accomodation for our last 5 days on Lombok and scored a very good deal for us. Jeeva Beloam was our most memorable experience of our 16 days on Lombok.

If you look for a beautiful and remote beach, stunning view, a clean and (for being so remote) luxurious accomodation, no tv/internet/mobile phone reception and a very relaxing stay - Jeeva Beloam Beach Camp is the place to go. We were lucky to have the whole resort/beach for our own, which made our stay like a 2nd honeymoon.

Food was good, nothing fancy or special and a bit too western from our point of view. The choice of drinks is limited (only one fresh juice (watermelon) that was finished after three days, then only water and soft drinks available), alcohol even for a muslim country overpriced (eg USD 50 for a basic bottle of wine) and beer continued to be served warm although we requested for cold beer every day.

Although staff is very friendly and welcoming, service was not yet professional and you can tell that a lot of training is still required to meet the expectations you have when paying full price. As we benefited from the soft opening offer, we cannot complain.

We had been travelling for over a month when we arrived for a luxury night to celebrate our Ruby Anniversary here at Jeeva Beloam. The whole site in absolutely gorgeous! The cove, the beach, the sunrise, the sunset, the beruga (the most wonderful beach hut you have ever seen!) AND the staff are fantastic too! Only 5 berugas and, during our stay, 4 occupied.

The food is included in the rate and you get 3 courses for lunch and for dinner and a great breakfast too....all very well prepared and presented. The staff here are superb; always smiling, very helpful and friendly. Alcohol is available at cost, unfortunately the stocks of post dinner liqueurs are rather small with only 1 or 2 choices. Nonetheless, this did not spoil our stay.

If we are back in Lombok we will undoubtedly return here......let's hope it doesn't grow too big!

Swimming in the ocean is wonderful as is the snorkelling close by.

I just returned from my short stay at Jeeva Beloam Beach Camp and I must say I was impressed by the unique experience I had there.

The name came up when my friend asked me to come for a weekend getaway in Lombok. Upon checking the condition prior to the getaway, I was happy to see the pics and at the same time frankly I was a bit concerned with the location; it's quite far from the airport (90 minutes according to the staff). The road is good at first until we reach the point when it becomes dirt road which last 9 km.

When we arrive there I am so mesmerized by the scenery and even more by the hospitality of the staff.

The beruga (Lombok style cottage) has been designed so well so you can get the whole scenery from my bed. Quality is the priority so you have first quality bedding and sheet to small details like amenities.

The food is superb as you get 3 course lun h and dinner which is served in a safari alike tent. The staff is very attentive so when once of us asks special order they manage it so well.

There is also spa service which is done in the room as the spa beruga is still under construction. I tried their Sasak massage which is very nice.

The resort provides many activities such as trekking, water sport or taking you to nearby beautiful beaches but for me the best is just being in the resort and enjoy the serenity of the surrounding and pampered by the staff. Heaven! I will be back there to enjoy more.

A wonderful getaway to recharge from the hustle and bustle of city life. Located within a protected forest area, you come to enjoy nature at its best. Sunrise or Sunset tour, soft trekking, kayaking, fishing, snorkeling ... activities to fill your day if you like or enjoy reading listening to the waves of the Indian Ocean.

The staff is attentive, gracious and friendly. You can see and feel they are genuinely happy to be there. Everyone from the front line staff to the housekeeping and kitchen team is consistently smiling and courteous.

Jeeve Beloam is not for anyone looking for an exclusive 5 star pampered experience. This is a place for anyone who appreciates outdoor activities or looking for peaceful time. Do not expect wifi, air conditioning 24/7.

Enjoy this 'little secret' before it gets crowded. I am looking to be back soon.
